Thanks I was thinking the same using a PCJ as I'm using the Akuma and Ruffian for the Triumph Speed Triple although I'm not sure which one to keep

Lol - confession time: I always preferred the Infernus to the Cheetah in GTA III. Cheetah, Yakuza Stinger (now there's a car I'd like to see brought back!), Banshee, and Diablo Stallion were my go-to cars back in the day - curiously enough, the 'Dyablo' was originally meant to be the Diablos' gang car (like the Yakuza Stinger and the Mafia Sentinel), until it was decided that a gang rolling around in Lamborghinis was implausible*, and so R* gave them the Diablo Stallion instead.

 

 

Funny thing: the beta Infernus still managed to slip through the net and into the finished game - when King Courtney asks you to steal some gang cars in 'Gangcar Round-Up', he asks you for "a Mafia Sentinel, a Yakuza Stinger, and a Diablo Infernus":

 

 

 

 

...probably best to drop off the Stallion quickly, then leave before anyone says anything...

 

 

 

I'm still amazed that R* didn't go with the Vice City version, since that's easily the most popular version (although I wouldn't have complained at all if they'd have given us the San Andreas NSX instead! ). That, and I'd like to know how "the Infernus Classic that first made its appearance on the streets of Liberty City in GTAIII" and "classic fan-favorite GTA ride" describe 'something that was cut/overhauled from the finished game, and only exists publicly on one of the very early promotional websites'...

Good luck with that. R* blocked garage access, because people were making money too easily for them.

...but you still have to drive to the bank at the beginning! Hence "rolls up" - I'm perfectly fine doing the back end of the thing 'by the book' with the Lectros (to be honest, I've gotten sick of people defaulting to the Kuruma method all these years, because they'd rather grind all the time instead of just doing a run for kicks), but it'd be good fun (IMO) to do some themed stuff for the actual bank raid itself.

(as in, I get that it's safer if you're grinding money on Hard to just go for armoured vests, but I'd love to do some more interesting things - see also: everyone in Prohibition-era clothes and all riding in/on the same Roosevelt, and doing the whole heist with Gusenbergs)

I made around 5 Italian Job inspired races back on PS3 with the Issi. A time when we could place checkpoints almost anywhere so yeah, got a race going through the sewers, tunnels, etc

Still think R* missed a trick with the Union Depository heist - could have given players multiple options for the cars instead of the Gauntlets, including the Issi.

Need to take/post some updated pics of the GTA III-style Infernus Classic later - I've been fighting the metallic/pearlescent options at LSC (and wasting $20k a pop on Bright Purple - yikes... ), but I think I've nailed the nearest thing I'll get to the colour in that early promo pic.

It was one of those anime that was a good idea, but just through bad luck and circumstance never caught on. Hence only 6 episodes, two short films, and that's it. No manga, nothing.

Part of the reason I made my username the title, so I could spread a little info about it.

 

And I agree. Fingerless driving gloves, driving shoes. Short sleeve dresses. Decent crop tops.

We could also do with a Europa and a Caterham.
