The first time I responded to this comment there is no picture at all,but yeah not gonna affect the gameplay,just edit the objective car and cancel,problem solved

I don't think its a bug either but just some glitch that happens occasionally. It does slightly affects the gameplay since the car falls when it spawns. Maybe its just because its in the same position as the checkpoint objective. Oh well, thanks for the replies i'll try moving the checkpoint or editing the car.

Sometimes there is a blockade on the bridge that connects 1 city to the other one,and I wanted to make an incident there but that blockade appears in the read only file of that mission and screwing up the incident why?

Hi, I used to try the import/export objective texts feature, then I got tired of it and it's because of the same as you. What really happens is that the exported objective txt file uses a line (or row) as an objective, do you understand?

 

Example:

It's not the same:

 

 

Hello Mr. Potato, I'll kick your ass

Not today!

 

Than this:

 

 

Hello Mr. Potato, I'll kick your ass

 

Not today!

 

What I tried to mean is that blank lines are also shown as objectives, so maybe if you divide the previous quote in 3 objectives, it would say the first dialogue in objective 1, then nothing happens in 2 and finally says "not today" in the 3rd

 

You can try to fix it in the txt file, by deleting the blank spaces or adding if you want to but it won't stay the same as you first did. So I recommend not to touch that crap until it gets "fixed" and do it the old school way ingame.

 

I also have a problem:

 

It's about the square words and symbols bug. I don't know why but everytime I play a mission I've made, in some part of it the words and icons become like... glitched, and the game ends crashing when I pause it.

It happened to me before but I only remade the bugged mission and that problem dissappeared. But now I can't make a single mission without getting glitched.

If someone can find a solution or a "patch" maybe for this, I would be extremely grateful, thanks guys! ;)

For some reason, if I made connecting checkpoints for car chase missions there's like a next checkpoint that supposed to be the next location you need to go after reaching current checkpoint on minimap.

It's because you have used objective car. Creating cutscene between those checkpoints or simply using normal car instead of the objective car, will cancel this feature.

No, I didn't use objective car.

 

Instead, a regular car and placed checkpoint inside it and when the chase begins, the problem occurs.

I'm not sure then, since it has never happened to me but trying the second option (creating a cutscene between checkpoints), would it solve this problem?

Something like this never happened in dyom 7, In dyom 8 if I spawn an objective car it will be fall down from the sky in play mission mode much like if you activate a car spawn cheat in gta lcs

I have a problem with a mission I'm currently creating. There's an objective where you have to go from somewhere in Richman to a checkpoint Willowfield, but anytime I reach a certain distance from the checkpoint, the game just crashes. It seems like it happends anytime I reach a crowded area, or an area with alot of objects, which is quite annoying.

I've tried rebooting the game, didn't work, and couldn't come up with other ways to fix it. Unfortunately my SCRLog plugin won't make a .log file for reasons unknown, so all I have is the mission file.

I think you guys should implement a new driving direction system. The route points are very buggy in 8.1 and the function is not reliable. You should instead be able to drive the car in the direction the actor is going to drive and then drive how you want the actor to, and then it will register as the actor's route.

I have noticed, that even though the "Passengers obey Leave nearest car" has been fixed, passengers sitting on the rear however, do not obey Leave Nearest car for some unknown reason. They still sit in the car unless the mission is over. Only the front passenger obeys Leave nearest car, but not the rear passengers.

I have a problem. Since today, I've used DYOM 7 and Cleo3, I tried to upgrade to DYOM 8.1 and Cleo4 but I have some problems.
I've installed Cleo4 with DYOM 7 and the game crashes. Ok, so then I installed DYOM 8.1 and the game works. But when I load a mission created with DYOM 7, and press "Play Mission", the game crashes. Also, the game crashes when I try to play a new mission created with DYOM 8.1 (not an old DYOM 7 mission).
Here I've attached a DYOM 7 mission that, like I said, runs with DYOM 8.1/Cleo4 but crashes when trying to play it. Everything works fine with DYOM 7/Cleo3: download here.
For your information, the only Cleo mods installed are Display Extender, Limit Adjuster and Tablo Camera by Thisisadamntest.
My DYOM and Cleo version are the latest one (downloaded this morning), and (if matters) I use Windows 8.1 x64.
How can I solve this problem, if possible?

So, I tried to create a mission with DYOM 8.1/Cleo4. I've added an actor, but the game crashes when I have to choose an animation for that actor.

And I want to report a bug. If you create a mission with enemies inside a building, and then you exit and re-enter the building, some enemies (not all) will "stuck" with zero energy (black triangle over their head) and cannot be killed until you go exit and re-enter, and other enemies stuck in the space between exit door and the "blue hell", falling down.

Try Delete ur cleo modes, for some reasones, i think ur cleos are the problems, (Make s backup) it happend to me already...

In the Interior, fix the bug after get in Interior no map.

And sometimes creating mission, more bugs on it.

brother this means that i have to remove all cleo scripts because i did not install any .img mod etc on my game but cleo scripts???

Sometimes when i make Actor up to 75 the new actor cause bugs (It didnt crash the game) when i try to kill those bug actors i didnt kill the red marker still remains on him. If you have any idea about this then tell the fix of this

Hide all the unless actors. (For example: when you set objective kill all ten gang members. After that objective, hide all ten actors) Hope it works.

Easy... Just delete all your cleo mods!

Someone says if some bugs occured, just delete all the cleo mods. Most don't believe 'coz they have no reason. As I'm a cleo modder,I'll explain why cleo mods/scm file are sometimes incompatible with another cleo mod/scm file.

 

CLEO mods are sometimes incompatible to another cleo mod because these 2 mods have the same effect or codes that are interrupting each other. When these codes interrupt in-game,it will cause a crash,or sometimes bug. So let's imagine, if anyone know the Cheat Menu mod,and if I make another cleo script.

As in cheat menu,you will have to press Ctrl & C together to pop-up the menu. And the another one,which is what I make,will also have the user to press Ctrl & C together. Then the codes are same and are interrupting each other. If you press Ctrl & C together,the game will be confused because the 2 scripts are interrupting,which script will be the first to head on. Then it'll cause a crash/bug.

 

Hope someone understands!
