I was in a session with my crew and we all had tanks and were killing everyone last night.

I felt so guilty but I couldn't resist blowing everything up.

I was lucky not to go to bad sport....

I am legitimately sorry to the people that I killed tens of times, and I'm even more sorry that I didn't get to kill the bitch who ran away after blowing us all up.

I promise to never do such a horrible thing again....

But sh¡t, that was the most fun I've had since i learned how to dupe cars.

"Griefing" doesn't exist, but yeah sure. I suppose reaction threads fall into the category of sh*t threads.

Heard an opp got killed, watch me do my dance.

Got a pocket full of bills, watch me do my dance.

I just popped a pill, watch me do my dance.

Hit that nigga with the steel watch that nigga dance.

Your names Amanda, right? There was this rather vulgar offer of proof involving writing your name on a certain body part and I'd like to expedite the process.

Is that a native American name? Can call you writes on arms or is it proper to use the whole thing?

My Gamertag is BlueTritium but some people don't like tritium, or want to shorten it.

It's when someone is trying to upset people instead of playing the game. Not when someone is trying to upset people by playing the game normally.

Driving a tank around to rack up kills is not griefing. That's what it's there for.

Driving a towtruck around to freeze people's consoles is griefing. That's not what it's there for.

You see the word getting misused by attention-whoring kids that know everyone would laugh at them if they were crying about "getting killed in a PvP game", so they try to distract you from the fact that they're just really terrible at the game by lying and using sensationalism.

Personally, I wouldn't terribly mind someone killing me with a tank for fun, but killing me over and over again even when I try and leave and not be a part of their fun, is when I would call it greifing.

Then you would be wrong, and may as well say that it's hacking.

Someone not letting you win isn't griefing. Whether they beat you once, or twice, or ten times, or a hundred times. They are allowed to kill you as many times as you let them, and the game rewards them more every time they do it. There are no rules, written or unwritten, implied or otherwise, that suggest fights are only supposed to involve a low number of deaths. If you don't want to fight, turn on passive mode and use your own skill to leave the conflict.

They are spawn camping you, and they are PKing. You might also think they're an asshole, but that's subjective. Whether someone is a griefer is not an opinion, it's a fact, like calling them a glitcher or a hacker. There are very specific (and simple) criteria that someone must meet to earn one of these labels. Killing someone with a tank 1000 times in a row does not qualify for any of them.

Lolll good luck, it's pretty hard to get Bad Sport now :p Rockstar's latest patch was subtitled "f*ck everyone that doesn't like tanks".

I call that spawn killing.

i say again, wtf is griefing.

this is not words with friends. when i play sometimes in free roam, you will know los santos is under my control. mwaaa hahaha. its just fun. but i will agree that spawn killing is pretty lame. I like it when they fight back. I look at GTA like that movie "Surving The Game". I'm just hunting.

This is griefing, from Wikipedia.

A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and harasses other players within the game, using aspects of the game in unintended ways.[1] A griefer derives pleasure primarily or exclusively from the act of annoying other users, and as such is a particular nuisance in online gamingcommunities, since griefers often cannot be deterred by penalties related to in-game goals.[2]
