Its meant for all those squeeky voiced kids who call everyone ni**ers... there are 2 seperate things to report people for, chat related.. one is hate speech, the other is simply "annoying me"

 

What Im wondering is, does a squeeky 9 year olds voice count as a reportable offense by default... Its generally accepted as annoying.

 

I believe that the game rating of R itself should be enough to allow us to report underage players, yes?

It should... but things dont always work how they are supposed to... and since this release I have learned to expect of R* what I would expect of EA.

 

 

Another thing to keep in mind is that the threaten you every time you report, that you could be punished yourself if they deem it spam reports.

I wish there was an option to report little kids on m rated games too, only thing is these companies WANT little kids on their games.

 

They're the ones who usually play the longest and complain to their parents for money to buy dlc.

It would be ridiculous to expect Rockstar to uphold and enforce state and federal laws regarding their games' ratings. That's the responsibilities of countries in which their games are sold. For example, until last year Australia didn't have an R rating for games, so GTA 5 would've been classified as MA 15+ (which, unlike an R rating, is availability to people under the age of 15 at the discretion of their legal guardians). I'm sure there are other countries where this is still the case. To expect Rockstar to keep up with the eccentricities of each country's laws and regulations would be wildly inappropriate an unrealistic.

 

TLDR: This game is not necessarily rated R everywhere that it's sold.
