Should quitting a job give you bad sport?

I'm just collecting opinions here. I want to see how people think involving quitting a job early.

 

For me, I think it's not justifiable. When there's a emergency or when you want to go to sleep, But you have a job, You can quit, But you shouldn't get Bad Sport.

 

Just my cents, How 'bout yours?

It shouldn't add to your bad sport quotient, but it should put you in a bad sport lobby immediately. People that quit jobs probably have chrome adders and chrome tanks and chrome lazers and chrome tattoos.

the problem is if a player starts trolling, for example if someone takes an item that is mission objective and just drives off/flys off etc. then they should be the one's getting bad sports, rather then the people who quit because of some dickhead.

Right thats what i dont get. Half the ppl are like sorry i have a life and have to go to work. I work 8-5 monday through friday so guess what. Im not gonna start a mission at 7:15 hoping that it only takes 15mins and then when it goes longer quit and be mad

And I was the last one standing at the end, running from the buzzard in a suburban literally one sns pistol shot away from exploding all the way to Madradzos.

Well what about the times some troll gets the objective (meth, coke etc.) and goes afk or just runs about? We're supposed to just sit there until he gets bored and finishes the mission or quits I guess.

yes and no, if you die and quit within 30 seconds, yes

 

if the mission has reached a certain time limit, lets say 7 minutes, then leaving after than point will not give you badsport

I was in a mission with two other randoms. Near the end of the mission a moron decide to put stickies on the car the two of us were in, and proceed to fly around on his buzzard all over the map.

 

I decide to put a rubberband on my controller and watch an episode of Big Bang theory. Came back nearly 30 minutes later, just on time to see him jump off the heli and fall for his death.

 

I am not sure how the bad sport ticker work, but with morons like this, we shouldn't get bad sport quitting

I'd say it should give you Bad Sport, but it should be lenient. You don't quit Jobs every time you join one. I think it should give you Bad Sport if you were to leave X games in a row. And you should get warnings every time you quit, though.

I voted no, but have changed my mind since. Its not like quitting the occasional job will throw you into the bs lobby, just like blowing up the occasional car. I've done both, have been playing since launch, and have yet to see what a bs lobby even looks like. I'm pretty sure you have to be acting like quite the dick to be thrown into bs.

I've quit a lot of jobs in my time online. Usually just missions, but I have quit deathmatches and races before. I quit golf the other day too. I'm still a clean player as reflected on my profile.

 

I play all the jobs and happy to see each and everyone one of them to the end. However, I won't 'play' along if I'm in a job with an idiot.

 

For instance, if I am in a mission, I will not tolerate another player just standing in the same spot while I have to go and finish the objectives. I will start them to see if he does do something, if he doesn't and I've got one last objective to do, I'll also just stand around and then quit the mission.

Again with missions, I will not 'play' along with another player who thinks it's funny to shoot your tyres out before a long trip to the mission objective. I also won't tolerate another player trying to run me over or try and crash into my heli when I'm trying to land.

 

As for team deatmatches, I've quit these too. If the host doesn't put on the balance team option and one team gangs up on the other as in 5 - 1 and I'm the only njub sitting in the one team. I'll start it and I'll run as far as possible from the arena as I can. I'll hide behind something, waste as much of their time as possible and then quit it.

 

Golf - to that moron that took their shot just before the timer had expired. You have both my middle fingers pointing your way.

 

Races - I believe in good fun with these, but again, driving backwards on an oval track may seem good fun to you, but for the rest, it's irritating. I join races with the intention to win and not to dodge unnecessary obstacles. And for the love of god and the sake of my sanity - please put the god damn traffic off!

I think it works fine as it do now. The bad sport thing has stopped me from rage quitting a few times.

But it's boring as f*ck when there is one guy left alive on the mission, and all he do is drive around the map just goofing, with no plans doing the mission.. That sucks
