New Mini Interior Found, Possible Future Property?

If reading isn't your kind of thing: Found a cool little interior on a property. Look at the pictures.

 

 

Lately I've been having a lot of fun roaming the map, finding back alleys, secluded mansions, coves, mountains. I particularly enjoy the mansions as they give me a taste of what is to come in GTA Online's future.

 

I have a gut feeling that a lot of these big empty luxury homes are going to be implemented into the game as player houses. I could be wrong, it could be wishful thinking. But some small details here and there tell my brain that it's logical for Rockstar to eventually make these unused, empty building plots available to players.

 

I've just stumbled across an interior that I think hasn't been seen yet. It's nothing spectacular, it's only a small room. It kind of looks like a fancy garage that has been converted into a summer chill out lounge. It's hard to explain. Also, there's a cool little diving board on this property which you can run and dive off with the diving animation into the pool below.

 

 

Looks like a typical rich area, right? Nothing much to see here. Except when you look a little closer at the small details.

 

 

This is the "Summer chill out lounge" I mentioned above, to the left of the property.

 

 

A couple of nice chairs, a ping-pong table. Big glass windows to look at the pleasant views through.

 

 

A set of weights in the other corner, ideal for a shirtless summer afternoon workout...?

 

A dartboard casually hanging off the wall. Darts mini-game, anyone?

 

I like this little interior a lot. It may be basic and minimalist but it's cute and fun to chill out in. Through the main windows you can just about make out a nice skyline of Los Santos which is always nice to look at.

 

The next part is what really made me question whether or not this property might become a player house some time in the future. I haven't yet explored the front of this property, I plan to do that now. At the back of the property down some spiralling wooden stairs is a dock for a boat (player-owned personal sea vehicle?).

 

 

 

There's a Team Deathmatch mission nearby on the map so perhaps some of you have already been here before for TDM. I'll post this property's exact map location in case anyone wants to check this out and chill out here with some friends.

I seriously doubt anything that isn't an apartment building/condo will ever be purchasable. I just don't see how it could work logistically if two people who own the same standalone building are in the same lobby together. I don't remember doing anything here in single player, so I have no idea.

I know, I agree. I'm not sure how it could technically be possible. The only way I can see it being possible from a server perspective is if people who own the same property on the map don't ever get put into the same lobbies together. That could be an issue if you have friends who have the same house as you, I suppose.

 

Like I said, it's probably wishful thinking more than intelligent speculation.

My idea was that houses, you CANNOT buy, when you join a lobby, you're assigned one of the homes that is available, out of the 16 homes.

In solo, you can pick whichever house you want to use in that session.

I'd suspect it would work the same way existing apartments do, but further out so your outdoor area would be private.

Once you entered the gate, you'd go in to a seperate instance - much like garages or apartments now.

 

I guess the buzzer would need to be at the gate to let others 'join your instance'.

There's a garage door around the front of the property which has been rendered with good textures. It looks as though it could be activated as a functioning garage door. (Again, wishful thinking.)

 

 

I'm also wondering if this portion of the building could be a bedroom with a nice shaded balcony area. A "master bedroom".

That's fantastic, I like that idea a lot. I didn't think of that but it makes a lot of sense. An instanced, blocked off portion of the land that is separate from the world just like apartments are.

Ah, that makes sense. I didn't bother with the collectibles in GTA V so I didn't know there was a letter there.

plenty of show us your car threads. why not start one where players find property around the map and post photos. ive seen a few random houses with highly detailed features for just a random house most players will never see.

 

if you have a lot of online friends you could even fake a party with staged snapmatic photos.

oh and the game already has problems with everybody in the same apartment. maybe spreading them out would solve issues like this or getting frozen entering/exiting an apartment.

We need more people on this forum hunting for unseen locations. The game world is pretty big, I'm sure there are a lot of places on the map that remain obscured by the size and scope of the game. I'd love to see more of these secluded mansions and villas.

Has no one thought they could be crew houses gor example weights to improve strength, darts to play against crew members , garage for crew cars available to all the crew and just a chill out area oor for defending against other crews

I'd hate to piss on your fire, but there's a mission at that house in single player -

when Trevor sneaks in to kill the guy in the pool.

That outhouse, with the table tennis table etc is present and correct in SP, and always has been. In fact I remember there was a letter scrap inside too.

 

Given that GTAO is set some months before the events in single player, and that the house is already occupied...

 

Yeeeahhhh..... iiiiit aint gonna happen.

The apartments ad garages work because there is a fadeout to an instanced interior. With Vinewood Hills homes like Franklins, which are open and continuous with the game exterior,

 

The other issue is that I think that the GTAV world is pushing the absolute limits of polygon count for the game consoles, and so their rendering and could not support any more interiors, for homes or of any other reason.

So even if this is all true, and that is a big IF.. It would be just like an apartment with a couple more things to do. So basically its useless.

As I said earlier, this house is already occupied by a story character at the time that GTAO is set.

This is probably my only "lucky one time shot" pic, most of mine are pics of hobos, whores and thugs, the seedy underbelly of the city - an invite-only free roam is the best way to get shots of gangbangers and stuff, you can get alot closer than you can in Sp for some reason

Been here a few times, nice house, but not going to be a purchasable house. The interior seems to be a games room which was only put in to accommodate a letter scrap in SP.
