sunnyboy276
like the title said, but was wondering if I could download a mod onto a flash drive and then hook that flash drive up to the ps3 and play with the mod. while I have the chance, kind of off topic of gta5 but is there an amplifier kind of device able to hook up to the ps3 to boost the wireless search and connectivity. im newish to the ps3 and don't really know of the devices out. feel free to respond. NeedleBanger
F*ck no, not unless your ps3 is modded & you're offline (I'm assuming). PS3 doesn't let you download/install sh*t into games unless it's from psn or whatever.
CrazyRay
...is there an amplifier kind of device able to hook up to the ps3 to boost the wireless search and connectivity...Do you mean like a wireless network range extender? The best connection is always a wired one...wireless is really supposed to be for handheld devices and for areas of the home that are too hard to wire
KeepCalm and CarryGun
No modding allowed for consoles, sorry. Sony and MS won't let talented amateur enthusiasts improve your gameplay for no additional charge... After all what would the world be like, if Frank Delise & co hadn't played BF1942 and thought 'Hey, what would this combined arms combat game be like in a modern setting, like in the desert, where the combat currently is. (but what to call it?) Imagine that, you could just DL it for free and play to your hearts content. Not sure this kinda thing would fit with either Sony's or MS's business model. Shame. You can get high gain USB aerials for windows devices, that will boost your wireless connection speed, not sure of any that work with PS3 however. As stated above, wired connections FTW. If the distance from your router is a problem, look into powerline connectors. These use the existing wiring and power sockets in your home to supply fast ethernet. Mr. House
Well first of all there would have to be a mod created of GTAV to be installed. As for the wireless range thing, you can get something called a wireless range extender, like this: http://store.linksys.com/adapters/linksys-RE1000-range-extender-bridge_stcVVproductId136607179VVcatId554677VVviewprod.htm As you can see though, they're pretty expensive.
