Max
The passing of a true historical figure. The sort of person whose name will be remembered for hundreds of years. His life had its controversies but he was a truly remarkable man who I admired a lot. South Africa will miss him as a figurehead and a symbol of unity over the next few years. I cucked Alex Jones
But was he as important as Paul Walker? The world has lost one of its most brilliant and esteemed citizens. His influence was not limited to Africa. Edited December 5, 2013 by Nipperkins Sunrise Driver

bread
He served his purpose and achieved his goals in abolishing what he thought was completely inhumane and immoral whilst striving hard to do so. He's changed things for the better on a massive magnitude and for that my full respect goes towards him. Besides, 95 years is actually pretty good. He's had a life filled with hardships but managed to tackle them in order to complete his goals. Well done I must say. Rest in peace. biggsull
The entire continent of Africa and much of the rest of the world will weep for him. The amount of respect I have for that man cannot be put into words. I am not a saint, unless you think of a saint as a sinner who keeps on trying. Lock n' Stock
To be honest, I don't know what to think about all this. I respect Mandela's fight for equality and wouldn't label him as a "terrorist" as such. However, I simply don't believe that South Africa has been a better place in recent years. I mean, the place has a sky-high violent crime with a huge media silence about innocent farmers getting murdered, sometimes tortured before death. It's horrific, and while it is great to honor Mandela's legacy, stuff like this needs to be addressed. Raavi
May he never be forgotten, a true crusader for equality. He paved the road to a more equal South Africa, but the country, drenched in corruption and plagued by crime, still has a long way to go.
