Airplane Cockpit Interior View (actual 1st person)

Hi guys,

 

I was riding shotgun on a Velum (single engine prop/passengers) the other day and something strange happened when I switched to the Cinematic Camera view. Instead of the cinematic view I was free-looking through my character's own eyes, from inside the cockpit. I could look at the pilot seating next to me, the instrument panel, and all around us, "a la Battlefield"... Best part is that the camera didnt cycled through diffenert angles like it normally does in cinematic camera mode, so I had time to enjoy the view before we jumped out on our parachutes. Has this happened to anybody else, maybe on other aircraft or cars/boats? Is this something that happens normally on the Velum while on the co-pilot seat? I even took a picture with my [actual] cellphone, which I will try to upload to this thread as soon as i can find out how (first-timer here ).

This happens in all planes I believe, in the Titan if you're sat in the back you can see the cargo hold.

That's the best view. I wish they implemented it for the pilot. It makes no sense that they didn't.

in Safari I don't think you can post images. Just use Puffin browser. Full non-mobile, flash, desktop style internet on your phone.

Discovered this yesterday riding in a Titan. Would have been more interesting if I could look at something other than the pilot - like out the windows...

Just give me an airspeed indicator or even just an indication of the throttle position. I understand that a speedometer is not necessary in the cars, and is just a rockstar thing, but when flying an approach to landing it would be really useful to know that you wern't about to stall just short of the runway. Its also really annoying when trying to slow down and the engine shuts down, it should just go to a flight idle position. Luckily the aircraft are extremely forgiving when it comes to landings, but I'd like to be able to make them a bit smoother.

you can also do it in limo while sitting in the back.. its pretty cool.. even in a bus, you can watch out the windows the bus i love most watching out of.

 

but i hate when you are in the helicopter, in the back.. that you cant see behind your player.. instead you see behind the helicopter, like you flying it.. i want to aim and watch out from the helicopter..
