Which GTA have you spent most time on?

May be a pretty common topic (my excuses)

But just curious which GTA have you played the most?

 

My top 3:

 

1. Vice City

2. San Andreas

3. GTA2

San Andreas, because of modding and DYOM. And probably because it has the most missions and features out of all GTA games. Time was needed back then.

Currently most played is IV + Episodes, but V is catching up and maybe it will pass IV someday, but it will take some time.

1. GTA SA because of modding. It's the only GTA that I can no longer stand to play the vanilla version of for some reason.

 

2. GTA IV. There's something about it that keeps me coming back for hours even when I only intend to play for a short while. I think it's the euphoria, but I don't think it's that simple.

 

3. GTA III. I can go through the storyline within a couple hours if I feel like it due to it being on the short side.

 

4. GTA VC. I don't play VC too often because the property missions throw me off a bit.

 

5. GTA V/Online. It's only been out a few months so it will be a while before it surpasses anyone.

 

6. GTA VCS. I don't own it anymore sadly. Sold it along with my PSP ages ago.

1. san andreas: because of the ps2 cheat device codes,recruiting, drive bys, car mod garages,fly planes,buy houses,ect. so much you can do.

2. gta 3: first gta game I've played and still play it at least once a week.

3. vice city: liked that Rock star added motorcycles

4 LCS: I like how the sports look better than gta 3 and are faster.

5. gta vcs: I like how you can buy businesses.

6. gta 2: once in awhile I will play it just for the hell of it.

7. gta 4: played it once and did not like how the button set up was so different from SA

GTA San Andreas because it's my favourite game of all time. I beat the storyline three times, did a lot of free roaming and I have played some multiplayer in that game too. Another reason why I have played this game so much is because there are a lot of stuff to do, like being in gang wars, go to the top of Mount Chiliad, participate in street races and so on.

San Andreas or IV, I'm not sure which one. It's San Andreas mainly because of SAMP/MTA.

If I keep playing GTA V at the rate I am, it will pass San Andreas very quickly. It's only like a week behind IV in total hours put into it. I've been playing it so much lately. Haven't been to school in like a week.

1. GTA SA. So many mods, so many things to do, excellent multiplayers, I kinda got hooked and played it after IV got released

2. GTA IV. At first I thought it was really boring but I started playing it again and put the puzzle pieces in and thought "wow they put so much work into this game... the plot is great.

3. GTA 3. I remember getting it at a very young age... oh the memories... having so much fun fighting every gang in the city.

SA 2 1/2 play throughs with lots of free roaming. VC probably second slightly ahead of 3.

 

IV sat on the shelf for ages, finally played this year, still need to do the episodes and find out what the fuss is about this Johnny guy

 

V will almost certainly wind up at the top of the list though due to online. If Online is separate then IT will take top spot eventually...

1. San Andreas- because of SAMP, DYOM, storyline, and few other things.

2. Vice city- Only recently been playing this one more often.

I played all of them a lot for sure, but I'm not quite sure which ones I played the most. However, here's my guess...

GTA IV is my favourite game of the series, despite the fact that it's only number three of most played games. But, that's because I had a lot more time for playing videogames until about a couple of years ago. I played III, Vice City and San Andreas since I was a little kid, so that explains why they are number one to four. I still played IV enough to surpass VC, though.

1. GTA IV - Don't have it on record because most of the time I turn the game off without saving. I'm counting EFLC along with it, the Buzzard is most excellent.

2. GTA SA - This was my first GTA, and probably the one I got the most fun out of. Being young and imaginative makes that huge map just that much more great.

3. GTA Chinatown Wars - Mostly because I play it on the sh*tter and vacations. It's always a joy to pick up and play.

 

(I won't rate the others I've played because I didn't stick around with them for very long. GTA V probably won't make it up to the top three because so far I've played about a week's worth, and haven't picked it up in about a month. I don't have time for games, or much imagination anymore. I would have adored the game four or five years ago though. )

Gta 2, never got bored of that game back in the day, all others i dont know but think SA is 2nd and vice city comes at 3rd place.

San andreas...its kinda sad really.

It came out in '04 and 2 gens. Ago but R* has yet to top it.

They have far better Graphics and mechanics now sure,but with the superior hardware I would think they would have the tec. To build not take.

10 years later and they cannot top the content/gameplay of what they did 10 years ago.

It kills me, really..If R* used the combat from the warriors/bully the driving/customization of MNC and the hunting and gore,Rep system from RDR

And the verity and vastness of san andreas coupled with v's amazingly huge and detai led map it would be an epic ground breaking game.

What kills me is they are capable of it, there just to stupid to put it all together.

GTA San Andreas followed by GTA Vice City and GTA Ballad of Gay Tony, but GTA V will top them.

1. Vice city: back when I had all that time all I did was play vice city and go to school. Friends would come over and wed take turns shooting out with the cops and shooting up the mall and doing rampages. And its the story I've played the most.

 

2. San Andreas for the fact that the game.was so big with so many features. It.didn't capture me.like vice.city.but many hours were spent doing stuff like trying to fi d big foot lol

 

3. Vice city stories for the sheer fact that j played it on the go and shifting and had the console version so I played it slit with the empire. Feature made it addicting.

 

I have a feeling V will get up there soon because of the online. Just flat out fun with your battles (army term for friends)
