Why does everyone run away from me in GTA:O do I smell bad or something last time I tried to give someone a hug they ran away screaming :L

My friendly gesture is usually to approach in passive mode with a firm salute.

I gave a couple of lower level players that were flying around in a Maverick a Buzzard I was using. I told them to come to Weazel to come and get it, they came guns drawn I was in the passive mode salute, they took it probably shocked that I didn't blow em up, but yes even I can be nice sometimes. These were like level 25 players

Just go into passive mode throw up some friendly gang signs but do it elevated so they don't try and run you over.

lol idk. but one thing I don't like is when randoms buzz my apt even when I have no bounty, I ask them whats up, no response, now if they said they wanted to see the view before they decided to buy, I'm cool with that. I let some weirdo in once dude started jacking on my bong, I had to leave sessions, that bs don't fly with me.

Its not you, its everyone else..lol

 

Personally I let people always get close to me. And 90% of the time they blast me or start tossing sticky bombs.

 

The best thing to do is be submissive and do a trust test. Allow the player to get close for an easy kill, even turn your back.

 

If they haven't shot you then you know they are friendly. That's how I do it..lol

When I want to be a prick I just park my Hotknife at LSC by the mall, go back to my apt and wait. Once I see my PV icon start moving I step outside, let them drive around for a while. When they try numerous times to park it in their garage, I whip out the phone, select Detonate Bomb, and usually I'll hear a WTF who just blew me up.
