Official Car Photography Competition

The idea is simple. I will start off picking a car, and I will give you all a week to submit a picture involving it. You can post up to 3 submissions of the car. Once the deadline has been reached ( I might make it shorter than a week depending on how active the topic is) we will have a vote on the winner. The winner then chooses the next car.

 

You can mod the car, take a picture of it during missions, etc etc. The vote you get is entirely up to the community, it can be a range of factors, so try and be creative as posters may not vote simply because you have the cash to mod it out.

 

I will start it with the Pheonix.

I was just thinking this. For your 3 submissions make sure you title them, e.g this is my 3rd submission.

 

You may want to do less than 3 submissions so your likes don't get divided, up to you. Remember a week is a long time, so you have plenty of time to find it, save up money for mods, and think of a creative location/whatever to do it with. Whats also interesting about this is to keep up with the competition you will have to keep modding cars, its a good way for us all to experiment with different cars and such.

I hate to be a stick in the mud, but we only have a certain number of "likes" a day. Using them to judge would mean people that have already liked other things can't join in and you wouldn't get a fair result.

And I'm pretty sure you can use Snapmatic during missions, maybe not all missions but definitely some.

Yeah I know I thought of that, its why I didn't say it in the OP just yet. Maybe once all submissions are in I could remake the topic with a poll of the users, post their submissions in the OP, and close it at a deadline.

 

As for the like system, the deadline is a week so if you see something you like but can't like it, then you can always come back the next day. This system is kinda screwy because people can vote multiple posts, but I don't really see a problem at the end of the day. The like idea will draw more users to participate I suppose, but using a poll does sound more solid.

Editing the original post sounds like a good idea to add your other submissions. Also im pretty sure I have taken a photo during a mission, anyone confirm this?

Oh yeah if I don't get a lot of posters I will cut the deadline to 3 days, so they are due by the end of the weekend basically ( I am from NZ so its going to be a pain figuring out times for you guys...)

Hey I have decided to make it so that you can change any of your submission as long as the deadline hasn't been reached.

 

So basically once the deadline is reached, your last 3 submissions will be the ones I post in the new topic where people vote.
