When I saw the promotional poster a few days ago I was alarmed when I saw Rhino on all fours, but its good to see him standing on two feet in the trailer. With the Green Goblin being in this one its pretty much the end of Gwen. And Harry looks creepy as hell, has that evil and crazy look to him. darthYENIK Posted December 5, 2013 Share Posted December 5, 2013 I liked the first one. It wasn't mind blowing, but it wasn't bad. It was a satisfactory Spider-Man movie. The slower pace reminded me of the first few issues of Ultimate Spider-Man. All it needs now is a cameo from Bruce Campbell. With Raimi out, he was only able to get a role on the video game. Moth Posted December 5, 2013 Share Posted December 5, 2013 I liked the first Amazing Spiderman more than I did the entire Raimi trilogy. And this one seems to be even better than the first one. Though one problem I have with it, the cgi looks really off. Like it's from a videogame. I didn't have this problem with the first one, but this one seems to have a problem. Seriously, the first one was so sh*tty, I walked out of the movie theater. The only reason it exists was so that Sony wouldn't lose Spidey license. The plot was boring, the characters were bland, the directing was abysmal and the dialogue didn't make any sense. No one in that movie behaved like a human being. It felt almost like watching one of those stupid scripted "reality" shows. The sentences that came out of characters mouths didn't match their personalities or the scenes they were in. Doubt they will ll be in. Electro is one of my favourite villains, along with shocker (who needs a movie eventually) and carnage (again, movie) I like that rhino will be in this (from what i am hearing) shame it is a small role but then again what more can you do with rhino? The first one had a sort of emotional touch that I enjoyed. Also, do you agree with the decision to cut out Mary-Jane? The number of storylines was a big problem about the 3rd Raimi film, and I'm glad they chose not to do so. Also, I wonder how they made Shailene Woodley so ugly for that role. I loved how there were many Spidey scenes that were a dude in a suit, not CGI. I loved how Peter Parker was relatable, as he should be. And I loved how it was a cliche. Just as a Spider-Man movie should be. There's been lots of set pics with Spidey ..So i hope the CGI isn't too much of a problem. And besides... The CGI looks good for Rhino, Electro and Gobby... Don't see why they would decide to skimp on the protagonist when they have 5 months left. And Harry. The VFX in these early trailers are usually fast tracked so they can get them out for promotion. It's more than likely that none of the footage you see in the trailer is a truly finished product.
