I can't imagine me being thirty-something and not playing games. Good to see it's not considered 'weird' anymore.

I'm almost 22. My first system was the original gameboy with Tetris and i still play it occasionally to this day.

 

My sister's husband is 40 and still plays video games, he's actually an achievement whore haha..

 

Even my sister still plays mortal kombat on her genesis lol.

 

I don't play as much as i used to when i was young but still expect to be gaming into my older years.

Mortal Kombat on the Genesis... wow, you just took me back. Hours of playing tournaments in my basement with friends... you know, Other Humans in my House!! CRAZY!!!

It's only weird to them 15 and under kids..

 

Got into many "discussions" how being over 18 and playing a game apparently makes you a loser.

Apparently the mature rating means nothing..or that the majority of gamers are over 18.

Wish i was older back then, i was content playing it and only making it like two guys up the ladder..I'd just sit there and get loss after loss but it was still fun lol

 

I think i just loved seeing the fatalities and since i was too little to know what was going on I'd watch the cpu do it to me.

I started with a Hanimex clone. (My first console ever).

Still have one. My favourite is Olympics with 100 games (or similar) - each one is a different variant of pong. At least Atari had some more interesting titles!
