GTAO Age?

I'm 31 in a little over a month so my vote for 21-30 is kind of pointless really haha. I bet all of us 30+ have been gaming since the 80's too right? This is the game I always wanted more or less, as open as can be for now. Still no football though lol. I always thought sensible soccer would have fitted into the original gta so well. Sorry, rambling on, stoned, blah

 

yup, started gaming at the age of 5 years on the old damn pc's with DOS lol, then went onto Atari and just about every console after that. been a blast to go through the years and witness how gaming has progressed.

37. And yeah, it's crazy how far it's come. GTA5 blows my mind. Sometimes I'll drive to the top of a mountain and just look and think how nuts it is that I can go anywhere I see. I remember playing Zaxxon on my Colecovision and Combat on the Atari.

Interesting. For now it seems that there are more +18 players in this forum than -18. Let's look at the result again when kids come home from school. Would be hard to believe for me that here are more adults than kids and juveniles, because so much trolling etc. is going on here.

I remember, at the arcade, (there was no home gaming yet) when they brought in Pong. People crowded around this new technical marvel like it was a ufo.

Seems comical now.

Some of those old Nintendo games are worth allot of money, especially Mario 3 and Zelda if you have them in the original sealed boxes.

Im 41. The magnavox Odyssey 300 was my first gaming console at 4 years old. I also remember playing golf with my dad on a terminal he used at work with the monitor and keyboard encased as one unit. It took about an hour to play one hole as the green scale screen had to refresh line by line everytime you wanted to adjust right or left on your aim lol.

First game I ever seriously played was Excitebike on the NES and it was amazing. Making your own tracks was the sh*t.

 

Probably played a few before that but I would have been too young to know WTF was going on.

 

Edit: wow, Excitebike had been out for four years before I was even born, so it had probably been out 10-11 yeas before I played it!

Agreed. My oldest Grandson is 11 and I don't even play the game while he's watching much less let him play it himself.

I remember the line of kids in the pizzeria by me 16 17 yrs ago, when street fighter and mortal kombat arcade was the games to play, kids with 50 pounds of quarters.

 

Nowadays you don't see many arcade games left, in public places by me anyway. Ancient news like pay phones

Love the Dark Souls's & Demon Soul's series, its the only challenging game out there, finished them both about 3 or 4 times over. still have them and will never sell them. cant wait for the new one next year.

 

Love both Demon and Dark Souls...played them to death and am itching to go through them both again, it's only GTAO that's stopping me.
