Are Crew Emblems working in-game yet?

Hi, I haven't been online for a couple of weeks now but last time I went on my crew emblem was still a checkered image on my clothing and nothing on my car.

 

I know this problem has a effected many other players and its an old topic, but I thought I might check to see if its been fixed of there's a way to get it working yet? I'm not seeing anything on Google search.

 

My emblem has loaded properly on the social network so no problems there.

I spent quite a while on it so I'm reluctent to start again. Also, friends can see my emblem clearly on my clothing but not my car.

They've been working for me from day one. Never seen what you said. Might be a rare case.

they even have been appearing for free on my game now, how THEY SHOULD'VE BEEN FROM THE START

Quite a lot. I cant remember exactly but its not as detailed as some of the other ones I've seen on the social network. Another thing, Ive never seen anyone elses crew emblem in game. Plus, if someone has a T-shirt with an image, the image is really low res on their character. When I where the same T-shirt its not.

My advice, keep it simple and not too many layers. Anything to complex doesn't standout in game anyway. I have made really nice more detailed ones but the crew always shout at me and tell me to go back to the simple Skull and QD design!.

The logos do tend to knocked off the car when the car has a smash lol. Drive into LSC for repair and it goes back on automatically.

in the race lobbies all crew emblems pixxelate on the character...

 

there are occasions with some that pixellation in freeroam too, but you only notice it on other peoples characters, your emblem will look fine to you on your screen...

 

but if your emblem has over 700 layers its basically gonna be goosed, try dropping the number of layers, although some look very detailed they might not require as many layers as you think, likewise some more simple looking ones may be layer heavy (occasional invisible layers from conversion too).

 

in my experience ive never really had any issues with crew emblem visibility so only going off discussion with others that have had similar issues and knowing that >700 layers borks the emblem creator tool

Ok. I kind of get what your saying and I'll deffinitley try lowering my layers.

Saying that, my emblem has loaded in rockstar social club and I've selected it as my crew emblem. Surly the one that appears on your clothing and car are low res versions of your emblem (like a JEPG) not one with all the seperate layers?

Another thing is that a friend I was paying with has told me that they can see the emblem on my clothes while I can't. So, it must be working only I can't see it. Which leads me to belive that my save file is currupt in some way.

I just checked the layers in my emblem and its 57. Is that too many?

Also OP, some of the more detailed ones...the ones that are photo-realistic....they've been hacked to the site...there's tuts on how to do it (use any image "gato"), but it was too much hassle for me. Hell, it wasn't until dannybohy helped me that I could find the transparency in the emblem creator (thanks again danny).

I just checked the layers in my emblem and its 57. Is that too many?

 

I would say so yes!. I think mine has 3 max!

there is prob a way to put them all into one layer. Have a look at the settings in the editor.

I recommend reuploading the emblem. My first emblem ever is still a blank box in my crew gallery so I just tried the day after. Was back in day one of GTA Online.

That's not it. On clothes when in cutscenes, lobbies or spectating you see your emblem on people wearing their own emblems. It's a bug. My friend saw his emblem on my shirt and I saw mine on his when we had no similar crews. You also can't share or take emblems from crews without being on them. About 35 layers max on mine. My first attempt from day one had 5 only. That always went missing off of cars and clothes. Most recently it stayed on permanently and I have just done another emblem and it all changed over fine.

does it always stay there? no.

 

and who had the bright idea at rockstar that putting the crew emblem on only on side of the car looks good? it should be on both doors when the hood isn't an option. oh and its upside down on the motorcycle gas tank.

Upside down on the gas tank kills me. Looks so stupid. I can't get them on anything but a t shirt.
