Guy blew up my Personal Vehicle in mission...

They can also drive it into water which makes you foot the bill.

Playing with a friend earlier, let him drive the rest of the way to the mission start point.... he couldn't handle it and went flying into the drink lol

I ended up paying for it.

Well something definitely went wrong because you can't blow up team-mates PV during missions, I know this because some assclown threw about 10 stickies at my car at the start of a mission, detonated them and then ragequit when the explosion took out his car and I was still sat there without a scratch. :)

^this. I know because some pppppphaggot tried to run me over and when I stickied his vehicle the boom had zero effect. He ended up killing me too.

I recall blowing up someones vehicle and then having mine promptly blown up in that mission where you arrive at the warehouse crack the safe and then deliver the boat. The guy rammed me when we arrived so I decided I could afford the $300. I laughed as I watched his dot on the radar circle around and blow up my Z-type after I went in

Then I also remember my vehicle being explosion proof while I was in it in a Geraldo mission with some hooligans. I was busy running down the sticky bomber who was on foot, he threw a sticky on my hood so I accelerated at him and he died in the explosion, I continued on.

I think it may have to do whether you are in the vehicle or not

It's not a glitch, you can't damage other people's PVs while on a cooperative mission. You can't shoot or blow their character up either, only way to kill them is with Jerry Can or by running them over.

Did you try this after the latest patch? I thought the Jerry Can stopped working.

It is your fault for playing with random people.

And why would play any missions they're boring as hell and they don't even pay a good amount.

You can blow up other PV's as long as no one is in it. I've proved this many, many times. If someone is in it, you cannot damage it except for popping tyres if they don't have bulletproof tyres that is.

It works with a Jerry Can.. I learned that yesterday when an idiot blew up my car right after the mission started. I had to pay everything.

lol... WTF?

People are f*cked....

I know! They should have to pay the insurance it they blow up the car in missions too

I don't think this is 100% consistent either, last night in the Madrazo mission where you go and rescue a hooker from the Lost MC some guy kept trying to run me over so I popped his tyres, he got out and started trying to shoot me so I threw a sticky at his car and it still did nothing.

Seems like sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. This game is so broken lol.

Nah haven't tried it so you could be right.

I think your right about that. I know that there is no friendly fire in missions between players, so maybe that exists when your in a vehicle and when you exit the vehicle it becomes vulnerable. I wish I'd stayed in my vehicle now!

I have mixed feelings with the Jerry Can. I have managed to blow maybe 2 of 5 cars up with it without getting bad sport points. I know the 1 time I did it without getting any bills was when I used backfire from a car to set it on fire. But I'll need to try that some more!

Because not everything in this game is about money for me, and I might actually enjoy something structured like a mission.

Definitely true! They should also get the Bad Sport points!
