Guy blew up my Personal Vehicle in mission...

So I was hosting a mission yesterday afternoon where I had to collect a bunch of Meth from a mountain side.

 

I spawned and jumped in my Blue Entity and sped down there, started to kill The Lost with a random who jumped in my car, then the guy who we left behind while his car was delivered finally arrived, he did help a bit, and then we went to go get the Meth and kill some more Lost.

 

He collected the Meth, jumped back in his car and drove to me, collected the other guy, and just as I jumped in my car, he threw a sticky bomb on my Entity and drove off.

 

I got out and was just like WTF!!!! He got half way round the map to the drop off and then blew my vehicle sky high.

 

He didn't get the bill, I had to foot it. And he probably didn't get any bad sport points either.

 

How is that possible? Why is that possible?

 

Short.

In a mission, dude blows up my car with a sticky on purpose, I foot the bill. Why?

I'd be more upset with the other player, "the passenger". He spent that time on the drive over there listening to music, taking in the view and generally bonding with the OP. Then, they slayed their mutual enemies, occasionally catching a glimpse of each other - the odd brush of the hand that they both pretended didn't happen. Then when the battle was over, their enemy defeated and they were left alone in the wilderness, they looked into each others' eyes and moved closer. Inch by inch they could feel the tension building around them as they moved in for that final, tender moment, until...

 

Lulz.... I'll just go with this complete stranger. Yeah, blow up that wanker. I never liked him anyway :D

Well they were probably broke. When I'm out of money i teach r* a lesson by going around and blowing up PV's and making the owner pay for it.

I had some guy jump in my Personal Stinger during a mission right at the start... He beat me to it.

 

So I turned it to "NO ONE" allowed to drive it. Which kicked him out.

 

As I slowly walked to my Stinger I saw him fumbling around switching weapons. Saw him throw a sticky bomb at is as I got in. He exploded the sticky, but my PV didn't blow up... He just died.

 

 

Weird glitch... Funny thing is he starts yelling and calling me a hacker...lol?

 

I just laughed at the stupid kid.

That's just silly! My guy didn't blow it up right away! I'm guessing he thought I didn't see and that I'd fall for it and drive back to the drop off! I just got out and them complete the mission while I did nothing, then the vehicle blew up. Ironically I was the only player not to have a death in that mission!

That sucks. I do have to say we all quit to the same free roam session. He shortly got mugged, mercs and bounties until he left.

had a similar thing happen myself.. a cooperative mission, one guy just decides to riddle everyones tires with bullets and drive off to do the mission without everyone else, they promptly died because they were crap and were then kicked..

the other annoying people are the rages who sit beeping their horns because they want to drive everyone in their car, you discover they can't miss a single stationary object on the map and its quicker to walk.

It's not true that you can't blow another players PV up because I did it only last night. Was on a mission with two low ranked players, the mission where you kill the ballers at a meeting with merryweather or somat...down by where you race 'down the drain' anyway, I beat the newbies to the spot but as I always do when playing co-op, I waited for them before opening fire. Perhaps they didn't think this was the case as when they got there, the one started shooting sh*t out of my car and I could see the bullet holes so he was definately hurting it so, I used my grenade launcher on his which blew his up and the other guys as it was parked near....I got two bad sport warnings and had to foot the bill which I had expected but didn't mind as I just wanted to to do more damage to him that he coud do to me.

 

Later on however, he had jumped into an NPC car and was trying to run me over and strangely, my grenades just bounced off this time. I've also being on a mission when a friend had accidently blown my car up. Not sure what governs all of this but, to say you absolutely can't blow PV's up in a mission simply isn't true.

...ahh, that would be it then, you can blow their cars up when they're not in it.

Yes this. Stay in your ride and your invincible to your teammates. Only when you exit are you vulnerable.

 

Ive had asshats try to blow my ride because I kick them out.

 

Get your own car you lazy broke piece of sh*t.
