I could just see this mentality in the Ardennes in 1944...

I dont think he's arguing to never take cover...just saying to pull your weight and if there's only a couple enemies left on the opposite side of the map don't sit there and wait for them to wander over, and definitely don't just stand there the whole round without even firing. If I saw someone do that I'd just quit, bad sport be damned. I'm not going to do all the work and get someone else free RP and $, I'll join a group who actually wants to play.

usually after the rambo retards die I finish the wave and say "you're welcome" over the mic. usually starts about wave 4.

 

probably the same retards that join a mission and rambo it to the start then die. god I love retards.

That understandable...I'll give you that. When I still played survival I generally was at the top of the kill list for each round. I never collected ammo...and I usually stayed within a 20 foot circle. I knew where the guys were likely to come from and how to take cover.

If being in a safe spot on Survival is considered "wimpy", then I guess I'm a "wimp" because I find a safe spot and dig in. I pull my weight, though. As well as mowing down the enemy forces that come my way, I snipe the choppers out of the sky and blow up the reinforcements arriving in vehicles. I think it all comes down to your playing style. I can stay in cover and in half the Survivals I join in on I end up being the last guy, pulling it through to the next wave. If you go all-out Rambo and don't duck at all, at some point or another you'll get blasted off your feet.

Yeah cause it makes so much sense to stand in the open and try to mow down 15-40 dudes that can kill you with like only 1-3 shots, even with armor. Wow yeah that must take balls...

 

Sounds more like the OP likes the camp spots and people will take them from him and he always dies like a little bitch because of that. Lol

This. Always. Other players only count if they are coordinating with you. Otherwise, play like they aren't there. Don't get caught up in fighting for cover just move on.

 

I like Processed the bin in front of the cargo container across from the right hand warehouse. First aid and BPV within jump distance right outside the bin. 3 lanes of fire directly to spawn points. Bad for choppers tho. No overhead. Move to bus on right.

rockstar needs to fix this mode. its just a cod zombie knock off only on cod the spawn locations are preset. in this game the bad guys just spawn out of nowhere in a triangle around you.

 

I take cover on survival. I thought you were talking about that room on the new survival map. you know the one that doesn't say get back to the shootout and the ai cant kill you? I thought you meant those guys. they just stand in there until its over.

it's not blind firing. Unless you're using some sort of invincibility hack, then it's called TAKING COVER. Because by doing so, you've got significantly greater common sense than other ppl in the session. :lol:

 

I've yet to see anyone survive 2-3 choppers plus the hicks by level 9. Especially since the hicks are upgraded to 100% dead eye with max body armor by then. :lol:

 

But since you're such a hard ass, how long do you last when that 1st chopper shows up with it's heavy snipers around wave 4? Do you go all out Spartan 300 and take it out with your ass out in the open? Or do you manly and casually stroll over to the big warehouse, and try to take it out behind cover from there?

 

I'm an expert with the MG, SMG and micro SMG. I typically last up to level 10 solo behind the shed.

I bet you enjoy spectating them each wave when you're the first dead, standing in the open.

 

Basically this. I love the trolls who stand out there in the open and then abandon their char. Just so they can provide an armchair commentary on who sucking the worst in the survival and collect a 20k paycheck while you do all the work.

 

Whenever that happens, I typically resort to fratricide. Plant one of my sticky bombs right next to them between the waves and send them off to cyber heaven before the next wave hits.

 

Kicking them out the session if you're hosting sometimes works too.

Cover is your friend, is it not? I agree with an earlier post about rounding up the few remaining enemies. Except on chopper waves, I tend to ignore them until after all the foot soldiers are dealt with first.

OP do survivals by yourself. I do them by myself all the time. My best was 70 waves, 7 games of Boneyard before I died in the 10th wave of my 8th game. Exactly whole point is to survive, idk who you play with, but if you don't like the way they play don't invite them. Don't whine about it. Bc when those 2 choppers in round 10 are circling you overhead, I'm pretty sure your just not standing in the open, Bc those door gunners have better auto aim then we do.

 

Usually after 5 games I've had enough, It's rough on the eyes.

In wave 10 I'm holding a minigun and blowing those wankers to Uranus!
