RAS_ZeroZ
Whenever a mission request/invite shows up on the left hand of my screen there's a number in it ie (1054m) (2444m) etc... what does that mean?
WBaker
It's the distance to the mission.
RAS_ZeroZ
Ahh, that's interesting... mixing metric into the game. I wonder if the distance ever factors into people's decision on whether or not to accept...
WBaker
Well, I try not to start up missions too far away so I don't have to drive across the map when other players are going to have to wait for me or do the mission without me. Although sometimes I start nearby with the other players no matter where I accepted from.
mo-seph
yea it is the distance... to further you last point baker if your invited to a job by a friend it still shows YOUR distance from the job, but you will start the job from wherever the HOST is.... quite alot of people will travel to the mission area before starting so you spawn pretty close by... if its an invite to a job from a contact (martin, lester, Ron) and you accept it will default you as the host so you will start the mission from where you are, which is where the distance number comes into play...
