Anyone else hate tanks?

Am I the only one that hates when I get into a lobby just to get killed over and over by someone in a tank? And the spawns on the game are horrible. Spawn me next to the person that kills me?

I don't hate them, I just avoid the area of the map that makes booming sounds.

 

I think that guy I killed coming out of his driveway felt more annoyed at me, than I have at a tank driver.

 

 

Edit: was worth it, got him, his passenger (who shot at me when I drove in) and another player (who also fired rounds at me earlier) with one sticky. I'll take a bad sport point for that!

I would like to point out my recently posted photo. learn to troll the twankers with passive mode. its funny having someone in a tank crying about how you aren't playing fair...this guy tired for an hour while I left a rubberband on my controller.

I personally would only kill my Archenemy with tank trolling. Or if someone got in my way, i certainly wouldnt hunt them the way ive been hunted by tank trolls. Thankfully i have learned to just enter quick deathmatch or race as soon as the troll lets me pull out my phone.

I dont mind them. People have to learn to adapt. If you're not a certain lvl fighting a tank may be rough, so learn to be clever or a good runner.

2 things to do with tanks.

 

1. Snipe them. Well idk what patches are going down since im on ps4 now. But i would snipe them. And tanks you can snipe them out from far away. So you can get on a building that they cant even shoot you on. Id kill tank dudes all night and theyd never even find me.

 

2. The best thing to do is to get thier tank. The glitch where you can keep it in your garage screwed this up though. Because when you call and order it anyone can get in if you get out and you cant do sh*t to stop them. Before id snipe dudes out of the tank then steal their tank. Or you could wait to come out of passive mode when they werent paying attention and pull them out of hteir own tank. Then id take the tank down into the tunnels just to mess with them.

 

If they come down in the tunnel in a car you can kill them. If they come down and get out of a car you can blow the car up and leave them trapped in teht unner. Quite a few times i had dudes tanks for hours. Just one after the other.

 

But in the end i jsut wnet to my sniper perch and sniped em all night. I loved bad sport. Clean lobby now though so it sucks. Ill end up back in bad sport though but its where tis more fun anyway.

What is it with these guys trying so hard to kill people in passive mode? Every time I see a tank I go in to PM and they try to run me over for about 10 minutes. I love standing behind a tree but earlier I was on top of a small building and there's no way this guy could touch me and he still was ramming the wall and shooting at me for literally over 10 minutes. I was just browsing the web while he wasted his own time.

I actually spent 30 minutes tonight looking for a lobby WITH tanks.

 

They are sitting ducks to the heavy sniper. Hell, the game forces you to go miles away to be able to kill them, which has the added benefit of making you unkillable by tanks.

 

When you add the fact that 99.9% of tank owners kill everyone and act like they are invincible, the satisfaction of repeatedly killing a tank driver is enormous.

 

One thing I'm not sure I've seen posted here is how easy it is to kill the tank driver after the first kill. Just leave your reticle zoomed to the tank hatch and you will have a good 2 seconds to snipe the driver trying to get back in the tank, as players render when entering vehicles.

I love circling tanks in my Buzzard while taking potsots at them, and flying up above them as soon as they try to aim at me. If they stop paying attention, just come back down and hit them with a few missiles until they remember I'm there. Rinse and repeat. It's definitely not the fastest way to destroy a tank, but it pisses them off to no end, and it still gets the job done.

 

And wow, a thread about tanks where everyone is being rational, and no one misused the word "grief" as if it's somehow relevant to being killed repeatedly.

 

I guess I should come on the forums during this time slot more often, must be when a large volume of real players congregate on the forum. I kind of wonder how many people in this thread are living in a non-American timezone, since it's an odd hour otherwise.

Tanks are fun, it's just a game if you don't want to fight a tank, passive mode, then walk away. But 90% of the time just seeing a tank drives players in to a attempted killing rage. I like to just take a drive in mine as the beautiful scenery moves by so slowly

I took a break from this game and these boards, when I come back they are still whining about the same sh*t. These boards have always been whining about tanks, ALWAYS!

 

It's like they haven't played a GTA game before. Tanks are part of GTA, get used to it.

I hate people who don't use a tank, they are mean.. Because when I drive my tank, they crash into me so that I get bad sport. I don't use my tank for killing players/blowing up cars. I blow up police cars, and have never destroyed a PV unless it crashed into me on purpose.
