Suggestion: Answering Door Via Phone?

Currently: Downstairs in high-end apartment. Hear door buzzer. By the time my character takes their sweet time slowly walking up the stairs or even across the main floor, the person is almost always gone. Additionally, I'm never right by the door, I'm usually watching TV.

 

Suggestion: someone tries to buzz up. Little note at top of the screen says someone is trying to buzz in and their screenname. You go to your phone and one of the contacts is "Door". Click that, they're in.

it shouldn't be a contact, but you should receive an invitation, like missions or improptu race

They do.... 99% of apartments have an option to link the door buzzer to your house phone, if you have a cordless phone..... bam.

try holding select, then inviting the person to apartment, if you remember who it was, invite them all. even if someone buzzes, i usually select>invite. it stays in their phone for a while too, not sure how long

 

select menu invite is my go to method because of how inconvenient not being able to run or jump inside is.

I'm usually lazy and invite by checking on the map who is closest to my mapmap then using the player menu. Usually too lazy and just invite the whole server tho.
