Because to be honest I'm not that surpised that a game like GTA V won this award... I don't think V's worthy of all these awards and stuff. I think people are rewarding lazy/bad behavior. V is just an ok game with pretty graphics. It doesn't hold the same standars as previous GTA's did. But whatever. This just shows what state the gaming world is in and it needs to change/be more honest. Despite the whiners on this forum (a forum that probably accounts for about 0.0001% of the whole GTA fanbase), V has been deservedly well received. I'm just waiting for the VGX awards on saturday. If 'The Last of Us' wins GOTY, I'm going to be pretty pissed. Oh and whoever made the comment about US elections going to the richest man...care to explain how a democrat was in office for the majority of the 90's? I seem to remember this really rich guy being in the '92 race, but he didn't win. Were you educated in the south by chance?
