Cake, Ice Cream, or Both (Spoilers!)

You've just finished a nice meal, and it's time for dessert. You can choose between Cake, Ice Cream or Both. Well, Why choose between them, when you can have both?

 

I think Franklin should have died in GTA V. It's not really a choice to save Michael, or save Trevor, when you can save both and kill all the bad guys. It's pretty obvious what people would choose to do, but it's not really a choice since your other options are pretty poor. It would have been much fairer for a protagonist to die in each ending.

 

Comment if you agree with me, and also give your suggestions on how you think Franklin would have died.

Franklin is awesome! If he died, i wouldn't be able to walk chop, and clean up dog craps.

 

Also, his special ability is super useful in races.

I agree and disagree with you. An extra ending, where Franklin went on a suicide mission and somehow killed Haines and Weston, killing himself in the process, would have been interesting.

 

Then again, the game needs an ending where all protags live. A sad ending doesn't fit with the storyline. It's like giving IV a happy ending where Niko saves everyone.

 

As some random guy on youtube said, the real ending is C. A and B are just there to see what if Franklin didn't choose C (Simply an opinion of course. Just saying before I get the free speech Gestapo on my ass).

Ending B was laughable. The kill Trevor ending was at least somewhat plausible, but still a stretch that killing him was absolutely necessary. Killing Michael was just AWFUL, there's no way in hell Franklin would turn on him after all of the sh*t they went through.

I went with C, but on reflection, I think I should have killed Michael. He turns into such a douche once he's completed Solomon's missions.

I'm glad they gave me this option, since I don't want to loose any of my characters. Even if I play mostly as Franklin, I don't want to loose Michael and Trevor.

Loose any features because of some storyline? No thank you.

So I'm fine with how they did it.

I disagree with the OP, I wouldn't want any of the three to die. I'll be picking ending C every time I play.

 

Also, this is a tad off topic, but Steve and Devin should have had worse deaths. They were both annoying pricks.

I remember when I had to choose in IV... I stopped playing the missions for about a month... the story just pulled me in to the game, I didn't want anyone to die, I wanted to find a 3rd option lol

And then.... I repeat AND THEN! After I had spent all that time deciding who I would let die, weighing it up in my head and everything... I end up with f*cking roman surviving!

God damn it man... I played afterwards but I was depressed. Went on a few rampages at 1st but then finally accepted the truth and went bowling.

 

The ending in V didn't give me this, I just thought f*ck you both. .. suicide it is!

 

Makes a game so much more fun when you don't read guides lol

Just no. Franklin was the realest protag. out of three, Mike and Trevor were kinda too much Hollywood-ish to me.

If its a big meal I wouldn't really be able to fit in cake so I would choose ice cream. Actually ice cream's always nice to have after a meal, don't get me wrong cake is nice, but I would only really want ice cream.

 

Oh and I chose ending C, because I didn't want to lose any of the protags. Truth be told, I assumed option C meant Franklin would die, and I held the phone up for about 10 minutes, deciding that I would rather Franklin died, but also I thought there might be a chance that nobody dies and it would just be one huge shootout (which of course it did end up being).

Same here. I like Michael the least, but I would rather have Franklin die for his homies than being a backstabber.
