Fortunately, this haven't happen to me yet (cross finger), but two of my crewmates had this happen to them, one is pre 1.06 , the other is post 1.06.

 

The pre 1.06 friend turned from a bad ass redneck type to a freaking drag queen, still wears the same face, but with tits and you know what. Unfortunately this is his main, so the only thing he can do is wear a mask 24/7 and pretend that he created a girl on day one.

 

The 2nd friend is luckier, because it was on his alt. She was quite beautiful but two days into 1.06

She decide to go to gym and now she is a VERY masculine lady. With a somewhat feminine face and a guy's body! And can only wear girl clothes.

 

If rockstar fail with coding, why not add a shop called plastic surgeon? Or implant outsource. So we can correct your mistake for you!

On a serious note though, yes, a plastic surgeon shop would have a purpose in GTA: O. I'd hope the bills were horrendous though! :)

It could be crazy expensive and have like a 20% chance of going horribly wrong and you end up looking like this.

I take this as some sort of joke.

 

But actually a place to change your eye colour, body shape, etc... after the one and only chance to modify your character would be something really useful.

I don't think Op's suggestion was a joke.

 

It would simply link you back to a restricted version of the character creator tool (so you can't reset skills etc) to allow you to redesign your face without starting a new character.

 

Lots of people would want to do that.

It´s the same reason why a lot of people would also like new stuff like racing overalls, police/army outfits, or other basic clothing options like gloves.

Saints Row had it in all of it's titles. Haven't played 4 yet so not sure about that one.

 

It's a pretty good option n much better then the whole pick your parents choices. Especially if you didn't get the preorder with Claude n Misty. I made a 2nd with John Marston as the father so it came out a little better. But a character editor would be awesome.

or an option to redo the looks every 10-20 levels like the time they let you do it a little after creation

I'm saying I DO want a place/opportunity to alter appearance.

I was more talking 'to' rockstar and wondering why they decided to make character appearance so exclusive in the fact you can only change it once and never again, whereas most other games allow character editing. Then I assumed you mentioning 'twins' was a complaint for those in favour as they could then copy your 'look'.. lol. A whole jumble of confusion I guess.

Exactly I thought you were against character customization when you wrote that "what´s the fuss". I thought you were telling people to play whatever shows on the screen because it´s not important gameplay wise.

 

Now I get what you mean.

 

And yes, I´d really like to see what´s exactly the limitation not allowing us to make changes to our character past level 10, or to edit height, weight or eye colour at all. I don´t get it either.

They really do need to implement a system where you can change what your character looks like anytime you choose, seeing as the character creator is so god damned HORRIBLE !!!!!!!
