I like the odd survival. Gets dry though. Needs background music so I don't need to YouTube all the time.

 

Missions? Pfft, nobody joins those.

I'd play more missions if it didn't include Last Team Standing and the stupid head-to-head challenges in that category. They aren't missions damn it.

 

LTS should be in deathmatches and the head-to-head could be it's own new category.

I take it OP is playing Free Aim. Its a pain in the ass finding all game types to play in free aim.

When I get on I primarily do missions, going around free roam just devolves into everyone griefing everyone else in the server til someone gets butthurt and gets a tank and everyone proceeds to scatter like rats into Blaine County cuz strangely very few tank users go there and then in some cases someone gets a Jet from the Fort and literally slaughters the tank in a few seconds because explosive rounds.

 

I create sessions with missions and invite the lobby I was in though.

I've done all the jobs and missions I'm interested in (and have done them countless times). I'd rather race to crate drops and trolls the trolls in free roam.

 

Sometimes I'll work with crew or friends but I have been, still am, and always will be very picky about what I will spend my time doing.

 

Every once in a while I'll run a job with strangers but only if I have enjoyed doing that job in the past.

At this point I admit...the only things that make doing missions worth it for most players is getting your crew rank up (despite it being glitched to all hell) and helping friends.

I wish Missions were more essential in GTA: Online. I think there should be greater rewards for completing mission sets, and you have to complete missions in a rough order to progress to later missions, moving up a Job-Ladder. The game could report what missions you have completed and which ones you have left to do.

 

Very minor changes could make Missions essential.

 

When the Mission Custom Editor comes out, Missions should be a huge part of this game.

for now (well for when they release it) the plan was to also do missions at some point

shame no1 ever wants to do the competitive ones though, dno about the ones in gta 5 really cuz no1 every plays them but in the gta 4 DLC's they had some cool competitive missions IMO

I do missions.

 

I do Survival in the Boneyard, Railyard, and i'm trying to get a feel for the Del Perro Pier.

 

I try to avoid freemode because it's full of psychos, but sometimes some idiot shoots me or blows me up in a tank so I get sucked in.

I've given up on the game entirely for now. I feel like they nerfed payouts and rp earnings because they knew that they were nowhere near having enough content ready for those who were grinding online. I totally understand the rp nerfing on races, but they managed to screw that up as well. They made the game dull as dog sh*t because they are behind schedule, and now they have to fix all of the things they didn't bother to test in the first place (which is delaying new content futher.) This new approach weeds out those who were grinding for decent money and xp, but at the cost of giving new players no rewards for anything, glitched crate drops, glitched vehicle deliveries, very few actual missions, and forcing LTS and vehicle death matches into the lineup so it wasn't so obvious that there aren't sh*t for missions.

i remember back in the day when i used to get invited to missions, survival, and races constantly. now all everyone does since they halved the payouts is random sh*t in free roam.

Any time I am on I usually do a survival then a couple races then some free roam and then repeat

Yeah free aim is great for free roam but it's impossible to find any missions. I had free aim on for about 2 hours before I switched back to make some money.

I do, I'm a constant quick jumper when I'm on. Not many co-op missions pop up though. Usually have to jump 3-5 times before finding a "mission". And survivals are usually empty.

 

When I do get to a mission with ppl, its usually crap because no one knows what the f*ck they are doing and apparently cannot read mission goals.

 

Also the douche who waits out his precious buzzard only to have me finish the mission solo before this weak ass partner of mine even gets close...get some balls pussy ass noobs and get out of the chopper.

All I do is missions. Since I'm saving for an attack buzzard, I try farm Cops Capacity as much as I can. It's worth $18.5k with the car

My crew runs as many missions/night as possible. in between each mission, we each call our contacts and then pick either the most fun or profitable one available. Rinse and repeat all night. The missions are really only a backdrop to our hijinks though. We just happen to be earning RP and money in the process of having our sh*ts and giggles.
