Still see almost everyone of them run to their cars while I beat them to the start point on foot.

Im running to my car because im useless on foot for most missions.

My car is great for cover and great for chases and get aways. Why would I get their on foot just so I have to run even further to get to my car after?

I had quit the last eight jobs I been into because the host usually starts the job FAR AWAY from the location.

I understand the frustration but I don't agree with the execution. Rather then quit, jump into another's ride and let them drive you there no?

Not always possible when 9 out of 10 people drive Supers and there's an odd number of you in the mission. Or they're assholes who just drive off/won't unlock their car.

Sometimes they are dumb like me, I forget how to unlock it from time to time as I usually play with friends/crew. I've frustrated players as I fumble to unlock, they jack a car and drive away.

So many crybabies playing this game anymore. What you really said there is "do all the legwork to get the job so I don't have to", sniveling little bitch. If you wanna jump on my meal ticket for a job you didn't start and there's some effort involved to complete the task, you're doing it too. Either wash the sand out of your vagina, or start your own job.

i don't mind either its like a mini race and some pvp just to get to the first objective lol

if its a ahrd mission ill just call my buzzard

I seem to be the only person in the universe who doesn't mind if there is 1-10 miles of distance between the start and the actual Mission...

Either do what the OP says (start missions near THE START OF THE MISSION), or wait till everyone's there before doing it. It's the epitome of the difference between a newb and a noob. You can be level 100 and still be more of a noob than a level 1 player.

how do you know where the start is though??

jobs you get from contacts aren't on the map and all I get is a distance counter (which doesn't update live)

Distance from what?

I wouldn't really have a problem driving to missions locations if all NPC vehicles weren't magically morphed into tanks in car skins the second a mission starts. Not mention these stealth tanks typically spawn 10 feet in front of you and drive straight through you as if you were a fart.

I had quit the last eight jobs I been into because the host usually starts the job FAR AWAY from the location. This infuriates me that people don't have the sense to look at the mission picture and go at least somewhere relative to...THERE.

Prime example:

We were doing this job for Ron, Right? I joined the lobby and I found out we were at the docks...And we had to go up to Grapeseed. How's that even-

Please people, Those shiny little numbers after the mission title isn't there to look pretty...It's there to calculate the distance from your location.

/shortrantend

1. Get friends

2. Get in lobby with friends

3. Play jobs with friends

4. Never whine again.

5. Profit.

I enjoy a nice long drive to the actual mission, gives me a chance to give my cars a test, and show them off a bit.
