The Pet Peeve Thread

I've been playing GTAV:O enough now that despite how staggeringly gorgeous & amazing it is (something non-GTA gamers don't get), there's still enough to make me grind my teeth to nubs!

So, I thought I'd post a thread to vent, complain, and whine, but mostly to share funny stuff we can all relate to.

* this isn't meant to trash R*, name names, or be an otherwise chemical nuisance. plz keep it in the spirit of the "it's funny cuz it's true." Cheers!


My biggest pet peeve, and I have a few, is the LS Police.

 

Yes, they're agressive. Fine. But I cringe when, for example, a tank is griefing the area and one of the fifteen cruisers crashes into me, minding my own, and suddenly, I become the entire focus of their attention, gaining two stars and fleeing for safety.

Or maybe it's the swarm of cops that comes out of nowhere for jacking a Futo?

In GTA4 you got arrested for minor offenses. Now, it's life or death if you punch a smartmouth pedestrian!

People who spawn kill and camp at LS customs.

There were two guys camped atop a large apartment building (helicopter'd up there) north of the central LSC, rendering the shop useless, even to speedier players. I did the only thing that made any logical sense. I stood in the open area, went into Passive, and used the Jerk gesture repeatedly, drawing their fire until someone with a buzzard knocked them out. Fun stuff!!

Not entirely sure how this happened, I think I was basically a tad overzealous due to the shock of him actually doing his job successfully.

Yes and no.

 

There are about two or three mechanic models that swap randomly whenever they deliver a vehicle.

Multiple white dots blinking on the map, even though you've only highlighted one

 

Vehicles despawning as you're getting into them

 

Stupid mechanic

 

Uselessness of the airstrike

 

The fact that Lamar only has one mugger

 

JB700 is still unarmed

 

No 747s

 

Have to pay to use vehicles that you've already paid for (stunt plane in this particular case)

My mechanic always looks the same and he doesn't look like that.

Mechanics who drive off with your vehicle, cops hitting me and then wanting me dead, locking on to a pedestrian when you're trying to kill a player who is literally right in front of you, calling lester to get rid of cops and then immediately getting a wanted level for seemingly no reason afterwards, buying armor and then getting hit by a car on your bike and losing all of it immediately, people who hide in there apt forever after getting a bounty placed on their head.

 

I complain a lot but I still love this game.

Auto aiming at the cops instead of a human player.

 

Getting one star on a motorcycle, fleeing to make it two stars, and then getting murdered by the cops who just slammed a car into a bike for a petty offense. The cops would never do that.

 

Not being able to buy food in the mission lobby.

 

Picking up weapons I don't want anymore.

 

Having to buy a 10k crew emblem every time I take my shirt off.

 

Not having speed dial.

 

Phone calls from NPC's.

 

Having to remove the body armor every time I buy it.

 

No longer driving out of Weazle Plaza garage, and instead just spawning on the street.

 

Wanting to host a game of golf, and having to exit some other lobby because there is no choice to be host.

 

Getting split from my crew after a mission.

 

In team deathmatch, having to chose between uneven teams or having my crew split up.

no you wouldn't

firstly I play free aim only and games are Always full

secondly you can free aim on auto aim servers as well, just use assisted aiming and move the thumbstick while aiming or only use the right trigger

Also the traffic has the weight of an aircraft carrier. You hit them at full speed, they stay still then push you backwards. FFS!
