So what's the difference between the Canis Mesas?

I found this Canis Mesa, but it looks different from the Merryweather one. Is there anything special about it?

Merrywether one is Canis Mesa Off Road, not sure if that one (the standard) is classed as an SUV. I have the MW Mesa as my combat vehicle (looks the part but is impractical).

It is raised on its axles, the chassis sits much higher above the ground and it has custom bodywork on it. What I love are the roof mounted floodlights. I crash A LOT and its nice to still have floodlights after the headlights have been smashed. There is very little you can customise about the MW Mesa but you can colour the body panels and the roll cage separately which makes for some decent combinations.

 

I have the body in Desert Tan and the cage in a mossy green colour which makes it look awesome. Especially with limo tinted windows. It is also pretty speedy.

 

The reason I say it is impractical for a combat vehicle is that with most SUV's/Off Roaders it sits quite high, even with lowered suspension. So it takes your character that much longer to get out and get covered. Also it means you can only get decent cover against the tires themselves.
