When Colombia had that freekick right in front of Brazil's box, 2 Brazilian players were about 3 meters from the damn ball when it was kicked. Surely the ref should order a f*cking retake. That's ridiculous.

 

Good game so far. Brazil have played much better than they have been in previous games and Colombia are the opposite really. Cuadrado has had the best of Colombia's chances but completely wasted them. Brazil definitely looking the favourites to win.

It was a tactical game. It was boring only for people that think that football is some kind of "kicking the ball" circus show with skill tricks and dozens of goals conceded by buttery defences.

Football is about beating your opponent on all levels.

That is what Germany did today. Quite entertaining to watch for me.

Football is a sport, not a show.

 

Also, don't forget they played at Brazil's 1pm.

Not the kind of match where players can run like mad men for 90 minutes.

Yeah I was annoyed that Rodriguez got that yellow. That was harsh he's a clean cut player too.

Not sure about the Colombia's disallowed goal.

I have to watch that again.

What seemed weird was that the action continued for quite a while before suddenly everyone realising the flag was up (was it?).

 

Anyway Brazil played better than usual. Very aggressive for sure but sometimes aggressiveness is needed.

 

Colombia could have done more but they weren't too focused.

 

That's the problem with little/medium teams getting in high WC places.

When they get there most of the times they don't know what to do.

 

Tomorrow Argentina and Holland will complete the 4 semifinalists.

Well, I dont know anyone in my Team or anyone of friends who plays football in a team ( which are a lot ) every saying that such games are boring... There are boring games, which are the ones where both teams just par the bus and.

Saying that this game was boring is an indication of the stuff I mentioned-
