Little bit slow getting started but the last half and hour was definetly worth the wait. I'd be surprised if Holland dont make it to the semi's atleast now as next round they have either Greece or Costa Rica and I'd expect them to beat them pretty easily.

I love how Huntelaar was bouncing that ball right before the penalty. He must've bounced it at least 20 times before he laid it down. And never in my life have I seen Sneijder shoot this hard, and that is saying something..

Maybe if you consider the first half, but the final part of the game, after the Dutch changed from 5-3-2 to 4-3-3, they were nowhere.

 

After they scored Mexico was not good. They tried hanging on to that goal too much and paid for it.

Today is a happy day because over-confident Mexico got kicked out of the WC. Now, I'm just waiting for Brazil to get kicked out and we can watch the WC in peace.

I agree he has not shown the best of himself this tournament but I think he is valuable in the team as a person. I think we need some of the more seasoned players to guide our otherwise inexperienced team.

He's scored three goals in three matches plus contributing a lot to Spain's thrashing. van Persie is too good and valuable to van Gaal's system to be sitting on the bench.

Anyone else not that impressed with Joel Campbell except for the first game. I know that only watching him 4 times isnt enough to fully judge a player but after the first game I thought Arsenal have got a good striker for the upcoming season, however he seems to have dropped off a bit compared to the first game in this World Cup.

Wow, what a match! It was really too damn thrilling. But what a party in Rotterdam when Holland scored!!! Through to quarter-finals...I did not expect that before the tournament started.
