bread
Fantastic game. Both teams played very well. Now it's USA x Portugal, which is going to be quite an interesting game without Altidore, an injured Ronaldo and the absence of a certain scumbag. At this point, my prediction stands for a 1-1 tie. It'd be great though if that wasn't the case and we defeat Portugal. There's so much obsession over Ronaldo it's ridiculous. Let it stop for once. uJhatafart00
I don't see both Germany and Argentina winning this WC, honestly. My bet goes on Brasil, even if they aren't playing well, or on some outsider like Belgium or maybe Colombia for their south-american being. Eutyphro
I don't see both Germany and Argentina winning this WC If they both win the world cup, that would be spectacular! Let's hope that happens. Why didn't they just both win in 1990 and 86? But anyway, Germany is great. This match didn't make me think: "oh wow, germany isn't that good after all". It made me think: "great to see Ghana play like they did in 2010, Ghana rocks". I'm starting to have doubts about Argentina. They can't seem to pull their game together. They are lucky to have 6 points. Edited June 21, 2014 by gtaxpert
Nlwt
That second half in the Germany v Ghana game was one of the best halves of football this WC. Great stuff to watch. Giving the Nigeria game a watch now and not sure why I'm bothering. Hodgey.
Eutyphro
Jesus christ, these referees have been terrible this world cup.... Bosnia just made a goal that was unjustly called offside, what the f*ck.. ddyoung, GTAKid667 and pocho

I cucked Alex Jones
Linesmen who you more than one offside decisions wrong shouldn't be allowed at the WC. I know that's harsh but at this level you can't make mistakes like that. Sunrise Driver

I cucked Alex Jones
I didn't get a good look at it to be honest. I have the TV on mute and saw whoever scored the goal (Dzeko I guess) Clearly in an onside position.
Eutyphro
You are thinking about the Nigeria goal, which was a fair goal eventhough the Bosnians complained. There was no such thing as an elbow when Dzeko made a goal.
pocho
goal by Džeko was regular, referees f*cked up beautiful goal. and B&H defence needs to be faster, captain should be substituted, it hurts my eyes how slow he is! Ari Gold

Shoumaker
If Bosnia-Herzegovina lose then they're out. They don't deserve it really, they were robbed of the first goal. Hoping they could pull it back before the end. Nlwt

Eutyphro
Another match ruined by the referees. Thanks FIFA. I actually liked Bosnia and Herzigovina because they play attacking football, but they have been completely screwed over today. Shoumaker
Horrible, just horrible. FIFA need to allow teams one video referral at least during a football match, I reckon if that first goal were given Bosnia would be going through.
GTA_stu
Feel bad for Bosnia, they didn't deserve to go out like that. Nigeria were pretty negative and boring against Iran in their first game, whereas Bosnia gave Argentina a really good game. If that goal was ruled onside like it should have been then it could have been a totally different story. FIFA do need to sort this sh*t out, it's not fair for teams to go out like this. Doc Rikowski
FIFA has its own agenda when it comes to which teams they want to pass to next phase. They always had it in each WC. When things get difficult for some of their teams, there you go a little help. Bosnia and Iran today were not in FIFA's agenda so they got f*cked. I love football and I love the WC but unfortunately there's a lot of corruption and some teams are favoured by FIFA's refs over others. Sad but true. bread
Well, this isn't new. Corruption is a norm in FIFA. I for one also feel bad for Bosnia seeing as this is their first world cup. The fact that they got robbed on their first one speaks volumes of how corrupt and biased the referees are.
Vercetti42
In cricket there is an option caledl third umpire to review decisions through videos, why can't football have that?, even if it takes time it will be worth the effort. That's at least one thing cricket does better than football. Shame for Bosnia though, they had a good team really. Ari Gold
Not to sound redundant, but shame that Bosna had to bow out in such a fashion. Here's hoping Croatia can at least keep the ex-Yugo presence going by doing well against Mexico (now that's gonna be one of the best games of the tournament, I reckon; both teams have everything to play for, are well-matched in terms of skill and can play quite efficient yet attractive football). pocho, GTA_stu and Coin
Coin
Only ended up watching the Argentina Iran game of last batch of matches due to how boring it was, effectively killing the mood for football for me personally. Aguero and Higuain didn't have good games, but a lot of criticism towards Argentina in that game is unfair. There's only so much you can do against such a negative and boring side like Iran, who are far too content to sit 11 men behind the ball all game. Argentina do need to improve a lot if they have aspirations of winning the World Cup mind you. Hopefully Bosnia beat them in their final game of the group and send them packing.
