Spain are playing dirty. Who would've thought. Even Iniesta made a bad foul aimed at a player and not the ball. And the one by Xabi Alonso was terrible.

 

Edit: Lol, 0 - 2, Spain is being humiliated. Chile is playing great.

This promises to be a very interesting game, whilst I predicted a win for the spaniards I'm hoping for a win for Chile.

I'm really surprised by Spain. I thought they'd have a reaction, both to the loss to Holland and then the first goal they conceded. But they really haven't given a reaction at all. They have 45 minutes to rescue their world cup, and it doesn't look like it's going to happen. They don't have that aggression in their game, they just don't have that direct aggressive play. The world champions are going to be the first team to be eliminated, along with Australia. Incredible.

Costa was the wrong man as a forward. He had a chance or two to score, just watched it on the replay on BBC 1, and it's as if he is scared to shoot.

I think Spain is "nervous", they are afraid of losing the game, fear is ruining them as a team, they can't play together, organized anymore.

And then there is Casillas who can't play at his best anymore.

As to why Spain is losing is simply because there's nowhere else for them to go but down. Once you've been on top being Euro's and World Cup champions then they become lazy and indifferent.

Those are world class players. They should have the mentality.

 

And as it turns out, they did have the mentality. They played a good start of the second half. But right now after 70 minutes they are tired, and they are done.

Funniest comment ever.

 

Really impressed with Chile. Was impressed with them when they played us at Wembley not long ago. I didn't think they had this type of performance in them though as they have been faultless for pretty much all the game and their work ethic is immense.
