Nlwt
I predict a 0-0 for Iran v Nigeria. Can't see any goals in that. Distrom

Der Süden
My country has always bad luck when it comes to football matches against them, it's like a curse. As an Italian all I can say is that we have a lot of respect for Germany when it comes to football. We did win some epic WC and EC games against Germany, but they were epic simply because we beat some awesome great German teams (I'm thinking Mexico 70, considered game of the century, Spain 82 and the latest wins in 2006 and 2012). At the same time Germany won a EC in Italy (1980) and a WC (1990). So our football history is very much connected. When you don't respect your opponent is very possible you're going to lose. That's how I see it. I see it like that too and also my national team does. But as I said, it's like a little curse. Now it's 19 years ago since we had our last victory against you. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germany%E2%80%93Italy_football_rivalry That's why I hope we don't meet Germany in this WC cause curses in football can be broken. I think we already won enough against you and what goes around comes around. Even if we won in the past 19 years I'm telling you, I will always fear Germany cause it's never an easy match. Same. If I remember correctly we can't meet until final. That's a very good thing since you're our curse. Though I don't know what's more bitter, getting kicked out of the tornament early or late. You get aaalllll your f*cking hopes up to the limit when you make it to a semi final or the final and it's so devastating when you lose then. I know that feeling from past world and european championships. But if you get kicked out in the beginning of the cup, it's absolutely embarassing, especially when you belong to the top football nations like Germany and Italy. Johnny Playert
Anyone else think the blue and pink Puma boots just look f*cking stupid? Yeah, horrible as all hell. The keepers even got matching blue and pink gloves Hodgey.

It's embarassing but the pain is less. I watched Italy losing a WC semifinal at home at penalties (1990), a WC final at penalties (1994), quarter finals at penalties (1998), 2 EC finals (1 with golden goal in 2000 and the last one in 2012). They were all very painful and I'll never forget them. On the other hand I didn't even remember who we played against in our 2010 failure. I had to see it on wikipedia. Kampioen
I was hoping Bosnia would win since it's their first ever world cup game. Unlikely from the start though. edit: Nice! Bosnia scored. At least they got to get their first world cup goal. Now would be a good time for a miracle. Edited June 15, 2014 by CenMan
Eutyphro
Bosnia deserved a draw. If they hadn't made the own goal they might've won. They were great, and Argentina played like they didn't feel like playing.
Max
The own goal was unlucky but Bosnia did themselves proud. They should make it out of the group and I really hope they do. Ari Gold and ddyoung

Oh I wouldn't worry about Bosnia going through to the round of 16, they had their hardest game first and then they played very well and showed good spirit after what happened there at the beginning, I expect Bosnia to pick up maximum points against Iran and Nigeria but with this World Cup it's just impossible to tell but I still wouldn't worry yet. SouthLand
France must be in shock... Benzema was booed many times for not scoring with France and yesterday almost a Hattrick. Nlwt
How did Aguero play yesterday? I only managed to watch the first half and passed out as I needed to be up early. Saw replays of the goals; not too shabby, besides the own goal of course.
