Skydiving into a plane?

As in free falling and entering a empty or piloted plane that's also falling at the same speed. Is this possible? Has anyone tried it? I could imagine it frustrating as hell. Anyone?

sorry, yes I did word it very wrong, I mean free falling and trying to get in an empty (free falling or piloted) plane.

Only possible in helicopters, don't worry about the blades you'll probably pass right through them.

i actually tried free falling through chopper blades and actually hit them.

I don't think it'd work because of the need to enter the plane while in air, which probably is not an option once in the freefall mode. If so, you'd need to be as close as possible as you'd be falling fast and wouldnt have time to get close to the plane and get in, as you'd probably just fall past it.

Yeah i don't think you'd even get the action to hop in... Maybe landing on top is the closest you'd get, assuming you don't vibrate/fall off.

Cool idea... But I doubt that it's possible in this game, especially considering any plane that somebody else could be flying down would require you to open the stairway door on the side. I would say it may be possible to land on one that somebody else is flying, but you would most likely immediately fall off and not have a parachute since you just used it.

I wonder if you can grab someone driving a small vehicle like a Bifta if it fell into a Titan, if the hatch was open. I mean if someone dropped it from e.g. a Cargobob.

Which in that case you have to stand on the wing long enough to get the action of opening the door to start..

I doubt free-falling next to the plane will magically open the door, or flying straight past it and clicking at the right time.

one thing at a time buddy! Well in my experience the tail gate of the Titan doesn't sync properly with other players ( looking open on my screen, but closed on their screen) as well as the smallest knock can explode them! Edited December 2, 2013 by Constantfluxation

I already did, was flying in a helicopter, guy skydiving in air with para-shoot, I fly under him and the blades sent him flying though the air when it killed him.

I want to try planes, here is a diagram of what i mean...with the help of a friend I can see it being possible. but only if the doors open.

This was a lot of fun to do in BF1942 and Desert Combat. But in either of those you just had to be close and press E. The required entry animations prevent this from being a possibility plain and simple.

 

It's also unfortunate you can't surf on land vehicles. BF1942 had this, but they dropped it in BF2. I'm assuming it was due to technology issues and not because they just wanted to put realism ahead of fun.
