invisible npc opponents

sometimes when I'm doing a mission or I'm underground in the subway some invisible force hits me from what seems like nowhere, then I find out they're invisible

 

can't even have a nice subway war with invisible cops it's ridiculous, is anyone else seeing invisible NPCs?

No... Worst I've ever seen is someone that their arm texture didn't load in.

 

I play Coveted a lot which requires sniping at a distance where NPCs fade in/out.

 

2 PS3's with higher performance drives then stock. Both read from HD only (PSN); no Bluray.

2 times it happened to me, I saw the red dot but couldn't see who it was. Also NPCs inside vehicle including cops disappear sometimes when i play a mission, probably because of lag.
