sukmieazz Posted December 2, 2013 Share Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) Though unconfirmed, many players have become exited about the potential of a single player DLC heist on the in-game casino that is (almost definitely) opening its doors soon. Presumably, the hypothetical stickup would be released alongside the ability to pull off heists with your crew in GTA Online. Assuming Rockstar is giving us the casino and an accompanying heist, since Michael and Trevor are both potentially dead it would likely involve Franklin and perhaps Lamar, with the story being Lamar tells Franklin he has a big job in mind and needs his help. Franklin, being experienced with heists, assists Lamar in taking the score and making some paper. So, putting any doubts aside and pretending the casino heist is definitely coming, how do you think it would be pulled off? What would you like to see in it? I find it extremely unbelievable that Rockstar would include a heist that doesn't involve Mike & Trev. There is no way Franklin and Lamar could rip off a casino by themselves. Michael & Lester have always been the brains behind the operations. I think that Rockstar would make it so that the heist chronologically happens before the ending. Looking forward to seeing how they'll deal with potentially dead characters if it's after the story. No wonder it wasn't included right away, sounds like it'll be a nightmare to make work with the multiple endings. Signatures are dumb anyway. Algonquin Assassin Posted December 2, 2013 Share Posted December 2, 2013 This could potentially occur when... Michael and Trevor are hiding out in the desert if it's a Franklin and Lamar thing. As for the casino not being opened remember with EFLC the stories took place at points when different parts of the city were inaccessible during GTA IV's story even though the city is opened in both games. Franklin is a boring character on his own and doesn't offer much to the series other than to be the middle ground between Mike & Trev. DarkDayz Posted December 2, 2013 Share Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) It could be set prior to the GTA story, casino being open and then emptied of all cash via a DLC mission heist, and that's why it is closed during the core game story. That seems the most plausiable way they can introduce it without messing with canon of the story endings. Unless it's just Franklin of course, or they cleverly find a way to carry it on, with relevance to what ending you have on your save.
