Topic title is wrong is should be: Best protagonist without looking at the game

 

 

If you strictly look at the protagonist and the protagonist only. And shove nostalgia out of the way in your opinion: "which one is the best?"

 

 

Claude Speed: Silent guy, i like them. But he doesn't speak so we don't know really his back story.

 

CJ: Works for the police and seems scared of them even while he is a: "gangster". Even tho he seem to dislike the gang life, he still lives it. But he seems to a have a good heart (at the wrong place) for his friends and family.

 

Tommy: Didn't played as him, because i didn't played Vice City (didn't knew about the game back in the day, lol)

 

Niko: Got a pretty good background story, i like those type of guys. And his accent makes things even better. Don't know what is negative about him.

 

Micheal: Guy that don't know what he wants. I like how he is a ex bank robber and i find his back story interesting. Spoiler:

Trevor: Crazy guy a pure psycho. Don't take's crap from anyone. But sometimes goes to the extreme.

 

Franklin: He also seem to dislike the gang life and wants to get out, but even tho he hates being in shootings and being in problem. He still does it. But is a cool guy, doesn't get mad when not needed.

 

 

End result: Niko, Micheal, Trevor.

 

Now if i would pick between those 3 then i would pick: Micheal. Reason: First protoganist to have a family, is pretty old, seems to think that he is wealthy, the suit oh and he walks like a boss.

I agree, only the negative thing was that he couldn't speak. lol. His background story is bit blurry. But it was nice to have a muted protagonist.

He's a complete mystery, even now.

 

Eagle-eyed fans will remember seeing him the GTA 2 trailer, where he was played by some guy from British horror-soap opera mashup, Eastenders. Jack Branning, fact fans, is Claude Speed.

 

I'll never be able to look at GTA III in the same way.
