why can we not customize dune buggies?

i've seen customized ones that were most likely hacked into online and duped, but why cant we normally customize one? the vehicle is literally useless to own as the bifta and injection outclass it in so many ways. i would totally replace my bifta if we could actually make use out of the buggy, we can't even change its colours after purchase.

You can mod them in LSC, just glitch them in. There has been a lot of ruckus around it in the tips/tricks section.

Not normally, just glitch them in. Its kinda like the LSC selling car glitch, only with mods:

I suggest the following method though:

 

step1

Get the dune buggy/sanchez or whatever you wanna mod out of your garage.

Go to LSC

Park it next to the door of LSC

press start, go to online-options and set spawning to last location

Now leave GTA Online and as you are in singleplayer, start a new game.

As it starts, pres start, go to invite only session.

You should now start near LSC in or next to your car.

Get out and grab a random car

Go into LSC and enter the menu to the mod you want to have on the vehicle that doesn't have that said mod 'lets say Turbo on Dune buggy'

leave that menu open at 'Turbo menu', press start and go to PSN store.

now press the PS button and log out of PSN

You'll start the intro mission, press start, invite only session.

Now you should again be near LSC, get in the car or if you are in it, just drive the buggy/whatever you wanna mod into LSC.

Buy the mod.

This can be done with all mods available on all normal vehicles.

To get the other mods, just leave LSC after added mod like a turbo.

Grab another car

Go to mod selection

PS store

Log out,

as new game starts automaticly just go to invite only session again.

Get into the buggy and into LSC, buy mod.

And repeat.

i cant believe rockstar cant even correctly code something like that, and we end up glitching a way to make it possible. so with this method, i guess i would be able to finally change the wheels on my injection

 

now my only problem is finding a buggy without that gross diaper roof

LOL yeah, thats been bugging the crap out of me to. Never saw one without that though.

i've seen a few from screenshots, so i'll just go glitch some money until i manage to get one.

i hope that theres one with the panels but without the roof, otherwise colouring will be pointless unless we can somehow change the frame
