Any one know any good jet techniques?

anyone know how to get behind an enemy jet pilot when their tailing you to shoot them down you know basicly to shake them in gta 5 not battlefield but gta 5 techniques going up and turning left or right with your bumper just gets me shot out or missiled any tips

Fly straight up, bank hard and nose dive till you're looking down at them and can lock on.

There's 2 types of competition with them: Ace, and slow/sh*tty.

 

Ace - you will die

Slow - loop, sharp turn, fly low, repeat until you're behind them - little edit there.

 

Sometimes the ace will stalk you forever, even if you're away from the base - you will die.

ok thanks guys will try it my lossess in freemode jet dogfighting simply go becaus i dont know how to get behind my enemy jet pilot when their already behind me

if all else fails just go off radar and most likely who evers tailing you will give up, unless theyre an ace pilot

R1/L1 with fast speeds + sudden sharp turn, but don't pull yourself up so quick that you"float" for lack of the specific word - you'll present yourself as a wide target for their cannons which will destroy you very quickly.

 

Add on the other tips and you'll get them..maybe.

One more tip - when you die, call a taxi or get a car and turn towards the entrance closest to you - near that bridge. Drive up the hill, get a run-up and go over the little hump close to the fence, saves you time by not going in the tunnel etc..

my first dogfight instantly reminded me of BF3.. 2 jets flying in circles untill someone gives in

Go top speed, then bust out the landing gears half way on brake(so you don't kill engine) while making slow tight turn, half way thru, retract gears and full throttle.

I usually just fly straight up while spinning. People seem to have a problem with maintaining a straight ascent to follow properly, and missiles are limited in how hard they can bank. It's usually enough to give me the distance I need to spin back on them and return fire.
