I think its funny at how many people try to get in my car, They spot my car and try to get in and when they can not they decide to shoot it and sometimes try again. Even funnier when I am on the in game phone and they kill me while I'm in my car, I watch them on the kill feed try to get in my car haha. Like I would leave my car unlocked for you fools to steal , anyone have this happen to them?

I leave my car unlocked, sometimes people need a car quickly, and if I start a mission, it gets returned to me anyways.

 

But if someone does kill me for it, I'll wait until they either look like they're going to drive it into the water, or are being chased by another player, then I'll kick them from it.

I always try and if I can, I drive it as far as I can until they kick me out. Shortest joyrides ever. I was trying to take a selfie of my carbo one day and I notice in the camera view a random player get in start to take off, I exited the phone and had enough time to pull him out of my car and he had the new nerve to try and shoot me! lol alas I got away.

Pretty much that yeah. Some people don't seem to know about it weirdly enough so it's always worth a shot just in case. And sure enough, most people will kick you out 20 seconds later.

 

But when you score, you score big lol

rofl, since i've unlocked the cargobob at pegasus that's pretty much what I've been doing. Problem is most players can see you coming a mile away and shoot you or blow it up. actually the best method I've found is to look at the map and find a low/mid level player that is doing robbery sprees. Try to see which shop he's going next and then swoop in to steal his car while he's busy with the clerk inside.

 

First time I pulled that off I got so excited that when he left the store and was looking around confused for where his car was that i dropped it on him by accident, killing him in the process. Best heli ever.

 

Nothing like killing a man with his own car, and gravity.

Nice work. I find that if you sit right above them, they can't shoot you or the vulnerable parts of the cargo bob. It's only if they get out of their car and step 5-10 metres away from it that you're in trouble. Most of the time they try to outrun you. It's a bit hit and miss but if you can swoop in and pick them up on the run, it's so satisfying to lift off knowing they have no idea what to do.

 

I dropped one on top of the tallest building with the helipad but since it's a personal vehicle that cannot be destroyed no matter the crash, he just drove right off. So now I drop them into places they can't drive out of easily. The building that's under construction that is used for the High Priority Case mission is a favourite because they have to wait ages for you to get to the top.

 

If they do jump out of the vehicle or I get it with out them, I usually fly off then fly back to them and tease them with it from a safe height.

 

Off topic.. the other day I was shopping and a dude ran a cop car right into the shop door and then another car in behind it to wedge it in and since you can't jump whilst in the store or take out your weapons, I was trapped. After 5mins, I told him "well played", and then killed myself.

Must be a new ability to kick people from your ride if you are not in it. The option to change the access was greyed out when I last tried... must of been a month ago... I usually would chase them down and get my car back... way more satisfying... people tend to drive recklessly when in other people's sh*t so catching them, even in an inferior whip, usually is a success.

 

Tho, Once I let this guy destory my whip and its like hey... wanna pay the deductible go ahead.

I have an either or system. If I have time, when I take my vehicle out at the start of a session I buy a remote bomb. Then I leave my car unlocked and whoever manages to kill me can steal it. I just blow them up as they're driving. It also works well if they're hanging around my vehicle waiting for me to come back to it. It's always funny!

 

Or. I just leave it locked.

I leave it unlocked at the start of missions and as people try to open the passenger door I drive a couple of metres, rinse and repeat until they get pissed and start trying to blow you up.
