Mathew4296
Simple as that. I just don't use them anymore because of how impractical they are. The slightest bump at a low speed is enough to throw you off. It's ridiculous considering how it was perfect in TLAD. It usually wouldn't be so bad, but considering your health in GTA V is a lot lower, it makes a lot of difference. You can't go about 50km/h without the high chance of being killed over the tiniest thing. The bike physics/handling in Vice f*cking City, a game made in 2002 and the first to feature bikes, is far superior to GTA V's bikes. I know this probably comes off as whining and complaining, but I feel very strongly about it and feel the need to make a thread about it. FranzJoseph93
Umm if by superior you mean easier then yes, I agree. But have you tried riding your bike against a pole in real life at 50km/h? Guess anything above 7 km/h would throw you off your bike IRL. Rockstar made this game realistic, I do love this. Also the Bati 800 is my most used vehicle and yes, I sometimes fall off, but with just a bit of practise you can drive pretty safely.

Also the Bati 800 is my most used vehicle and yes, I sometimes fall off, but with just a bit of practise you can drive pretty safely. I know that getting thrown off a bike in real life is easy, but video games aren't real life and I think that a few liberties here and there are needed. Slamming into a poll or something, yes you should fly off. But I'm sick of trying to ride the bike just to go flying off because I bumped into a car. BUMPED, not SLAMMED. I'm talking like maybe 10 - 20km/h, which I know would throw a person off IRL, but this is once again a f*cking game. Sometimes "realism" just isn't worth compromising the fun factor of a video game. The fun factor being like in previous games where I could go full speed on a bike without having to worry about the tiniest bump killing me. If it weren't for the standard low health in this game, I would have no issue with it. Not that I don't like the new health, it adds challenge, but it should be balanced by making bikes handle like they did in TLAD. Where small bumps didn't matter as long as you weren't going too fast when you bumped something. I think this is pretty reasonable complaint, even if you don't. KeepCalm and CarryGun
I certainly agree the handling of bikes is not up to the heights of TLAD, they feel too twitchy in V imo. But myself, I haven't had the problem of being thrown off as much as in GTA IV, I used to rip through Algonquin at full throttle, loving it, but always with the fear of immediate and imminent death at the back of my mind. TLAD was a hug improvement, as you would expect, being DLC based largely on the biker gangs of LC. Turning radius was improved, and Johnny was superglued to his bike In V, there have been times when riding modded bikes, hit some bumps/cars/peds where I still expect to get thrown off and die screaming, but I come up smiling and still on my ride, at some fair speeds too. For bikes, TLAD > GTA V > GTA IV
a 3 legged pony
Rockstar made this game realistic, I do love this. How realistic did they make it? A maxed out athlete that can't walk downhill without falling flat on their face....or was it the vehicles that are shot up with a thousand rounds and in 20 collisions that are still moving? Not that? It must be the part where a head on collision hurts less than the intense pain of holding your breath over 20 seconds. We all know noone can hold their breath for 22 seconds without a long stay in the hospital.
