What's your most embarrassing death in GTA Online?

I was in one of the little prop planes and decided to go to LS int'l airport and get a titan. i got out of the prop plane and walked a little bit too close to the front prop....oops.

A new crew member joined me and free roam and wanted me to show him which uniforms to buy. So I waited for him to drive to me and called Merryweather for a chopper pick up. I'm in full uniform (camouflage army fatigues) thinking I'm all cool and [email protected] as I stand there posted when he showed up. My chopper arrives and I walk over to it all smooth thinking I look cool. I start climbing a fence that was next to the chopper but as I climbed up the propellers to chopped my f*ckin head off. Smh. I was embarrassed af. Thought he was gonna leave me crew like.."I'm not joining this guys crew with his clumsy @ss" lol

There are too many for me to recall. If it's embarrassing, I've died that way.

 

The most recent embarrassment was on a roof trying to shoot a rocket at some jack-ass who kept killing low-levels. I hit the ledge with the rocket. The ledge I was standing on.

 

Chasing bounties in a Buzzard, I've crashed into more towers and bridges than I care to admit. And always in sight of my target.

 

I was revenge killing some dude and he was at range so what do I do? After spawning from a recent death? With him at range? I pull out the auto shotgun. And fire. And miss because he's so friggin far away. And get gunned down by his SMG. Felt like an idiot.

Having a 1 V 1 deathmatch and it was tied 4 to 4 and only 15 seconds left, I back up to shoot him since we were using free-aim and the train comes and kills me and it takes away a point for me since I 'committed suicide' and lost.

I came upon what I thought was an idle player and was trying to snipe him from a long distance..when I finally found him in my sight I saw that he was doing the same to me and shot me first, in the head.

Recently, I was riding around as a passenger in the Sandking XL with two of my crew members. And the driver had the bright idea to go after someone who was underneath the overpass we were on. So (after I told him it wasn't a smart move, given the player probably had good cover) he flings the truck over the railing and we get stuck between the trailers. And the player picks all three of us off, with a gun (didn't go the easy route with a sticky) and busts a move out of there before we could respawn.

 

The driver said it was the worst experience he's ever had on GTA. I just laughed.

I did Rooftop Rumble all rambo style, landing on the roof of the car park with a Buzzard, jumping down the stairs using the element of surprise and shotgunning down every single enemy inside without taking any damage, seriously I was on a roll. Picked up the briefcase evidence thingy and went outside and stood on a jeep, waiting for more aggressors. I decided to take out my RPG to be a flash bastard and didn't see the telephone pole just inside the missile's radius. Boom, blew me up, BOOM destroyed the thing I needed and I failed the mission. I believe I was so angry that I didn't shout, didn't punch something or throw anything, I just shut off the console and went outside. f*cking piss take, even thinking back to it, it's just laughable now. Doing so well, only to be foiled by arrogance.

In railyard survival my three teammates died. I held my ground in that long, open railcar, take out the helicopter, and now there's only one guy left. I get cocky and go after him with my shotgun out. BLAM BLAM goes his shotgun. Survival failed. You reached wave 4. Those other three guys must've facepalmed so hard watching me.

 

Done in by my arrogance, just like the poster above me.

I had a jet and was trying to kill someone with a bounty in the wind farm, hit the tower he was standing next to.

 

I had a similar death, was chasing a guy with a bounty. I was in a jet, he was on top of a building and this is what followed.

 

 

He took this photo and sent it to me : / The worst part? He didn't even die.

I'd have to say in general it's dumb survival stunts when everyone else is spectating.

 

Specifically, my one most embarrassing death was more a series of deaths... I saw a 9k bounty get put on a guy (BobChow or something) just outside my apartment (Tinsel Towers). I hopped in my F620 and shot of my garage, chasing him north. He, like many people, ran into Eclipse to hide, but there were 4 other players outside his apartment waiting for him as I got there. I was able to kill all of them using sticky-bombs... a few had nice cars and it drained 30k, leaving me with just over 10k. I was so pleased with myself... especially in that these guys kept coming back and I kept winning. Probably my best winning streak ever, and lo-and-behold, BobChow can out of his building! I was going to destroy him (had forgotten that bounties don't charge you for destroying his car, so I avoided bombing the garage as he was in a yellow and black entity), but wasn't able to shoot him too much in his car. He drove straight out, down the hill and hid behind the building below. I went after him, he shot me. Rinse and repeat about... 10 times. I could NOT kill this f*cker! He went back in and out of his building twice more, and I failed to kill him every time. He send me a text 'haha loser' and I realized I had tunnel vision, so I drove away. Not five seconds later I saw someone else claimed the bounty.

Basically, I was offroading near Mt Chilliad, the truck kinda...."lost traction" and started a horrible rollfest down the mountain, it exploded near the bottom killing me instantly.

 

Spawned, and was hit by a spooked motorist.....

 

respawned, called mechanic, turned around to go get in my car, and was smashed by a semi from cluckin bell.

Damn....your character looks like he went ten rounds with being hit in the face with a basebat.I also hit a building while base jumping but I managed to survive with a sliver of health left until I got hit by a NPC car.

I accidentially select my rpg. I am very close to another player and pull the trigger. We both die or it is just me who dies. It happened several times that I accidentially selected the wrong weapon and blew up myself while in combat. Embarassing.

Mine was whilst playing with my crew.

We were all parking our Surfer's up near the gas station, and I ended up reversing into a gas tank and blowing up everyone's vehicles I blew up so many within such a short time that it didn't register that my friend's Surfer got destroyed. He had to go find a new one and then pay 100k or so to upgrade it.

Yeah, we all died.
