What's your most embarrassing death in GTA Online?

This is my first thread on here so I figured I'd ask what everyone's most embarrassing death is.Mine would be getting killed by a grenade that I had stupidly dropped by my feet when I had meant to throw it.

i've done that it's super embarrising especially when it was a bad throw or if i hit something and the grenade bounces off it and lands near me.

I had a jet and was trying to kill someone with a bounty in the wind farm, hit the tower he was standing next to.

I was with a crew of guys. Randoms, but friendly. There were 6 of us. He called his mechanic and had his Police Riot Van delivered. We all loaded in and drove around for a while. He suggested we start a police chase and then head to the airport to escape in his Jet. I thought I would get us a wanted level by tossing a grenade. While riding passenger, I equipped the grenade and held it out the window....for too long. While in my hand, the grenade exploded. Killing all 6 of us and blowing up this guys personal Riot Van.

 

It was a fail moment on my part. I felt like an idiot.

Industrial survival on my first time i went on some ladders to get on a high platform. My gun wasn't out so i couldn't aim-walk and because the control can make you walk further than you wanted...i walked over the edge and splattered on the ground - with only 2 of us left it didn't last long.

 

Had 2 spectators have a good laugh at my failure.

 

EDIT: Also have attempted the bounty hunter with jets/buzzards and collected a tower which is almost invisible unless you touch it with your nose.

 

Had a guy throw a sticky bomb out of his car and blow my fighter jet up too, bloody good work on his behalf but bad for the ego

I remember some guy did something to piss me off (i think he killed me and because of that my car got impounded) I caught up to him and ran him off the road. he hopped out his car, i hopped out mine thinking i was going to quickly pull out the assault shotgun and put the pepper on him - nope turns out I had selected "tear gas" in my inventory while i was driving the car, so when i got out i didn't have the ASG equipped i had the damn tear gas instead, so right when i got out my car i pulled out the tear gas instead of a gun and got filled with hot lead.

 

i felt played.

Atleast it's not as bad as crashing a jet even before getting off the ground,that's why I like flying choppers.

Damn....I know what it's like to get killed because you forgot to equip the right weapon.I accidently took a swing at someone who was shooting at me and died because I forgot that my SMG was'nt equiped.

i did have an embarrising foul up once i was doing titan of a job and i was trying to land the titan at the sandy shores airport and i was low to the ground and i did a hard right turn to lam\nd but i hit a tree and broke off one of the wings and crashed.

The same thing happened to me except I did that mission where you had to destroy three Lazer jets.My jar dropped when I had a freaking land post despite being above it and as a result my plane crashes in a flaming heap.

Some guy was chasing me in a Buzzard. I hit the brakes, got out, pulled out my Minigun and shredded him. As I was attempting to get back in the car and leave, the flaming wreckage fell out of the sky and landed on me.

 

Blew up my damn car too....

got stuck in the bushes beside one building that you cant jump out of and after like 5 mins of trying to climb or jump over from every place possible had to shoot myself in the head.

 

Also me and a friend stole 2 fighter jets from the base and were messing around doing barrel rolls on the way to the city. We kinda barrel rolled right into each other

I was minding my own business trying out the new Speeder when some random started attacking me with a Buzzard. I whipped out the minigun, but before I could turn around, he killed me, taking away all my ammo.

 

Of course I wanted payback, so I grabbed a Buzzard of my own. I saw his dot at the airport where he was switching Buzzards. I got there in time to see him on foot getting in. In 1st-person view, I was trying to kill him, but I was sloppy with the controls. Long story short, he killed me with the Buzzard again...

Today, I got into a Mallard stunt plane at the runway. While in the air, I was doing barrel rolls in cinematic mode & crashed into a random player on the ground, killing both of us...

I tried to punch a car that was barreling towards me...

i engine died while delivering a tank of gas for trevor

the truck got stuck on a small stone and i just accelerate until it die

and i cant do anything about the tank, cant release it or any other ways

suicide for me to end the mission lol

 

my team mates must have bang their heads or issue a kill on sight for me lol

i was offroading on mount chiliad when a buzzard showed up and started attacking me.. i was moving around trying to get a good shot with the sniper when i fell off a rock and started ragdolling down the mountain, but really slow so the buzzard pilot had all the time to finish me off

My most embarrassing death/deaths was when I decided to get in a buzzard to take out a guy who had a bounty in another buzzard, he killed me 3 different times in 3 different buzzards, he then outlived his bounty. It was pretty embarrassing to say the least. I'm pretty bad at anything other than racing.

 

The other day there was a guy on a rooftop across from an apartment where a bounty was hiding out, I went up on the roof and noticed his dot had disappeared and thought he either died or jumped down and hid his dot. I started sniping on the roof, while still paying attention to the apartment entrance and garage.

 

The dude who hid his dot came behind me and instead of performing a stealth kill he decided to try and beat me to death with his fists, he punched me twice, I rolled backwards off of an AC unit then No scoped him in the chest, it was hilarious and i'm sure it was his most embarrassing death.

Inspired by the promos I saw when they first rolled out SP, tried to go base jumping off one of the cliffs near the cannibal cult camp.

 

Had a breath taking view of the gorge and valley below.

 

Took some scenic landscape pics.

 

Then did this beautiful swan dive off the cliff edge.

 

Immediately face palmed onto a ledge immediately below.

Haha yeah! Leaping of mountains or buildings without a parachute is a good one too.

Haha yeah! Leaping of mountains or buildings without a parachute is a good one too.

 

Or leaping out of a helicopter or plane and forgetting you had a parachute.I admit I fell thousands of feet to my death when I did that.

yep i've done tried to punch someone from 100m away.

 

It's even funnier if you try to sneak up on someone to get the drop on them and they turn around while you're in mid swing lol.

Was on the chase, tried to drop sticky bomb to the street from my bike, when I activated it, it blew me up..

 

Yes, the bomb stuck on my bike actually. That was like so epic fail.
