it is annoying when your contacts keep calling you when you don't do their missions which are low paying and repeative.

Apparently that doesn't mean you're busy or anything...

But rather it means you want to pull up the damn phone anyways,

Only to have to cancel out the call...

In the middle of a gun battle, or car chase....

I think the call/message frequency both have the option to have "No delay". Whether that means that they will never call/message you or there will be a call/message right after closing one, I don't know.

Call them all and request a job from each as soon as you enter a session. Won't completely solve the issue, but it helps.

If you go in the phone settings you can turn your phone off. It says that it may pause the story. I don't think you can do it in online though.

i think you have to buy one of those before they stop calling you, not sure though, but i can't recall they ever calling me

would be cool if new mission difficulties unlocked (i.e hardcore/veteran difficulty) after doing them an x number of times. payout should increase like the smuggler plane random event on FR. i wouldnt mind playing them if they had some the missions are almost 2yrs old, they got stale a while ago. the annoying mission phonecalls are just an annoying reminder.

Rockstar has missed a related troll opportunity. If we really actually needed the useless stealth skill for some missions, they could program it so Ron or Brucie would call and ring your phone, just as you are about to sneak up and knife the last guard before getting to a key checkpoint. The guard turns around, sounds the alarm, and 5 more guards that were not present 2 seconds before suddenly appear and blow you away with shotguns.

The only call that I answer is Lester, some time after I have set a bounty on some asshole and I have gone off to do a mission or heist. He calls me and says, "That thing is taken care of." and that makes me happy
