Thanks patch 1.06

I used to grind Criminal Retards a lot.. I didn't play anything else, missions, races, nothing...

 

I was mad at cockstar after they nerfed it, but now I see that they were right. I'm playing more missions, races, parachuting, etc.. now I'm having more fun.

 

 

 

I even got to level 70 and bought the tank, griefed a whole lobby and they kicked me out of it.. It has been 5 hours of pure grief with my tank.

 

I felt bad for spawnkilling a level 20 player and sent him a message apologizing, asking him if he needed money. He said yes, so I modified a car and gave it to him, that made me feel better.

 

 

Anyway, once you start playing the missions and stuff right, you'll enjoy it a lot more. That's for people like me who used to grind CR and got mad at cockstar.

I'm happy with it as well, you tend to meet people with better personalities and attitudes doing jobs than races and free roam.

 

 

Racing in any game just brings out the inner d-bag in people, instinct makes them wanna' ram you off the road even if you're lapping them they feel the need to go for it.

yeah I enjoyed it too, but after 100 times it was boring as hell

Also, killing people legit in a PvP game isn't griefing.

 

The change definitely benefitted the other jobs though, seems to be a lot more people everywhere else. Maybe they improved the matchmaking system in 1.06 as well, who knows. It certainly didn't hurt though.

I got to 120 off rooftop rumble and other missions. I got to 200 off criminal records..at 213 now.

 

 

Most people though are farming coveted of course..rather than doing most other missions though.

Since the nerf, racing has been a lot better too.

 

More people doing longer racers, and a reduction in the number of douchebag drivers. I've been enjoying it a lot more.

That's awesome, still it's his fault. I don't understand why they don't go to the apartment or leave gta online. I've seen 2/3 afk players getting killed by others and i also admit that i killed 3 times but then i felt bad too. I should've give him some money it's too late.

but some asshole with his 2 crewmates started shooting at me and my friend today, we were driving a bus downtown, so I got my tank and killed them 12 times...

 

then i felt bad and asked the guy if he wanted my tank. He said yes and started killing his own crewmates, while i was in my apartment.

 

After a while he destroyed the tank and ran away. I got my car and drove close to them, tried to be friendly and they killed me. I spawned in passive mode and they tried to run me over all the time, I guess they were very mad at me.

True that. I regularly give pegasus tanks to new players and 9 times out of 10 they immediately try to kill anything in sight, me included. It's kinda fun to give someone else the tools to troll the session but without even having to drive or get the BS warnings that come with it.

 

Just drop it off and head to your garage to watch the weazel news. I lol when people start calling the newbie a hacker because he has a tank at level 13. People just get so jumpy around tanks, even if it's a newbie at the wheels.

I think it takes about 30 PVs now, if you have have been a clean player for a while that is. Nobody really knows exactly how the BS rating works yet, but that seems to be the rule of thumb around here at the moment.

 

I have blown up about 20-30 PVs in one session before I got labeled dodgy. I did take a week break from GTAO just before that so that could factor in as well. I would add that happened the night just before 1.06, so the new BS settings weren't applying yet.

Anyway, best thing to do to avoid being sent to bad lobbies is to check your player status regularly and once you see "dodgy player", then whatever you are doing just stop it lol. Do some missions, play "clean" for a while and it should reset in a matter of days.

 

Way I see it, I'm allowed 1 massive tank rampage a week. Suits me more than fine. More than that and it gets boring anyway

The Nerfs didn't impact me at all because I was playing it they way they intended from the start. I never understand why people glitch and use repetitive methods to rank up and get money fast. It destroys the real fun of the game which is variety and playing with others. For me the most fun time I had with GTAO was after it was first released and nobody knew what to do yet. During that first week there were tons of full race lobbies of all sorts and missions were easy to group up on and nobody had squat so free roam was pretty care free. Once the glitching and repetitive racing started happening most of the fun just died off really fast.
