Your situation is the same as mine. I also have my money and experience, but can not play with my character (not without replacing it). The character selection screen goes to the choosing screen of your parents-grandparents, which is not what I selected, so it's corrupt. It can only be resolved by R* if they want to.

as the title says i lost my charakter.. i was playing online and got disconnected, when tried to get online again it said that i needed a charakter in order to play online. I didnt create a new one and i tried the method to go to the social club and sign in, which worked but the problem is that it only showed my cash and my rank 78, and below that it said that there are currently no available stats.. can anyone help me out ? please !

If you saw the message 'The Cloud servers are temporarily unavailable' and all that stuff and you pressed the square button (Or the 360's equivalent) to retry, chances are you did some damage. If you did not do this, the chances are you did not do any damage and the problem actually resides server side, which means if you restart your console you should be good to go. Hopefully you haven't lost it, because that would be a bit on the 'sh*t' side.

I've been in this situation, too. Luckily it was in the beginning when I was only level 19. This is pretty severe. But all the waiting amounted to nothing. Do as the others say and use slot 2.

Yes, I started a new character in my second slot.

i created a new character in slot 2 and i dont know why but i got all the money from my first character. But thanks anyway!
