as the title says i lost my charakter.. i was playing online and got disconnected, when tried to get online again it said that i needed a charakter in order to play online. I didnt create a new one and i tried the method to go to the social club and sign in, which worked but the problem is that it only showed my cash and my rank 78, and below that it said that there are currently no available stats.. can anyone help me out ? please !

Just turn off your console and check back tomorrow, that's the best thing you can do.

Do not create a new character whatever you do, just puts the risk up. Hopefully it was a connection or server issue and it comes right on it's own.

Probably an issue with the cloud servers. DO NOT make a new one... or it will really be gone. give it some time and try again in awhile.

Go to sleep or do something productive. Then pray a lot and if necessary change your religion to pray to multiple gods. Kifflom!

Yeah just wait a bit and try again. Once I logged on and my garage was completely empty, but I just dashboarded and loaded it back up and it was back to normal. Strange.

They did, you did not actually lose your character. Previously (before the fix) people were actually losing them... chances are, the cloud servers were/could still be having problems.

I hope you didn't press Square "retry", anyways don't touch anything. Wait for tomorrow and check.

 

I had that msg "server cloud not available" but after it works.

This really really sucks. I'm sorry for your loss and embarrassed by R* policy. "Let's just nerf every way to get decent RP and not give a f*ck about the time people spent on their character. Also, we don't mind glitchers, modders and hackers, but if some legit player loses his stuff, we laugh our asses off."

 

I'm pissed. And it just gets worse.

Its gone. The cloud server is NEVER offline for longer than a few hours. The character is gone forever!!! it happened to me a few times before the patch. Its also happened to a VERY few number of people AFTER the patch....

 

Make a new character.

i think i lost mine when i clicked on that empty char selection with cash and lvl, bringing me to the char creation screen, (i backed out without saving but cash and lvl didnt show up again) never click on an empty avatar...

R* is revisiting people who did the Criminal Records glitch and deleting their characters. Be warned.

Lost my level 70 character because of a disconnect and it just got send to tier 2 support at R* after 7 days. Still hope to get it back. Started a second character which now is level 28. Create a support ticket, if you want it back.

Yes, I bought that, so I use that as an extra stimulation to help me.

well i don't know what to do, on the hand i'd like to play online and create a new character but on the other hand i dont know if there is any hope for the first character.. i mean it still shows the rank, the crew and all the money
