1. Probably because no one is talking.

 

2. If you have a compatible mic with your console, then it should automatically enable itself once plugged in.

 

3. Press start -> Go to Online -> Scroll down to Players -> Look for the person talking that you wanted muted (a sound icon should pop up next to their name/level when they speak) -> select that player and choose Mute.

 

4. If you have the correct mic plugged in, then speak lol (you can easily check if your mic is working ingame by following the same steps as in 3, but by looking at your character instead).

1. Probably because no one is talking.

Dude! If you are not hearing everyone you are better off just leaving it that way.

I don't think so, I am gonna get a mic and want to communicate with the best griefers so I can join them.
