I've had IV since release but for some reason, only played a few missions. Also, I saw videos on YouTube of Niko's girlfriend dying, along with Roman dying. I know that Dimitri turns on you too. V's story was way better. On par i'd say. V had more hollywood-ish story, while IV had a more humane, soap-opera plot. It's ultimately a matter of personal taste. It really truly is worth playing, and not for the story alone. The experience of playing through IV is what really matters. You don't play a game to figure out that Roman or Kate dies and Dimitri is a traitor, you play it to play the game, and Iv is most definitely worth playing. (Also there are some other chunks of story in the game. The wedding is actually pretty minor, and only really serves as an excuse for Niko to go after Dimitri, in the grand scheme of the story.) His post doesn't even make sense because at the end he said GTAIV is greater (>)than COD I'm pretty sure it was meant to be an arrow. He's accusing GTA IV of being COD. I've noticed a lot of people don't give the story a chance because it starts off slowly, so they lose interest after a few missions. This can especially be said for those who don't even appreciate a good story and just want to have fun playing the missions. My advice, mod it...for example enb, icenhancer or regular timecyc modding.. whatever floats your boat. I put GTA V back in its case. I'm playing GTA IV and I am proud of it!! .
